"VIP" Cinema, right. Ok. IMy friend and I went to the 1:45 showing of IT on Saturday September 9th 2017. We took our seats and got ready for a movie we had both been looking forward to for a very long time. Even before the trailers finished 4 people sitting behind us were talking very loudly and being very distracting. I waited a couple of minutes to see if they would stop talking loudly but they didnt so I went to the individual that tears the tickets(which I later found out was the "manager" which Ill get to) I told him that the people behind us were being very loud and that it was ruining the movie watching experience, I then asked him if he could at least have the volume turned up so that their talking wasnt as apparent. I went back into the theater and attempted to watch the film and to ignore the VERY loud people to the best of my ability. My attempt at blocking them out was not effective as they continued to talk about everything that was occurring on screen. These werent typical reactions to a horror movie like gasps, or small shrieks because something on screen was scary or shocking. They talked loudly about EVERY SINGLE line of dialogue and every scene while asking each other " what did he/she say?" "Dont do that!" Etc. etc. This made the movie simply unenjoyable and it was beyond distracting. After 45 minutes my friend and I couldnt take it anymore so I went to the concession stand and asked the person there for a refund and he said that he would get his manager. The "manager" was the same person who was tearing tickets and said that he would have the volume turned up when I first complained. I voiced what was happening and in so many words he called me a liar saying that they went into the theatre and that the people behind us werent talking but simply "reacting" to the movie. When I asked for a refund he said he could only give us vouchers for a different show time. I denied the vouchers because I will NEVER return to this theater ever again. I find it completely unacceptable to pay 21$ for two tickets and the management cant even tell people who are being obnoxiously loud and having full,LOUD conversations/ ruining the experience for the other viewers around them. You clearly dont respect your customers who are quiet and trying to enjoy a film they paid good money for but you do respect the loud, disrespectful people who pay to talk through a film. This is unacceptable and I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to never see movies in your poorly run establishment. And I will be contacting the owner and actual manager because this experience was unacceptable. If I could give Riverdale 10 zero stars I would.

Never going back. We have given them chance after chance to improve, but have now had too many bad experiences to give them another dime of our money. Over all, seats are nice but AC is low quality (Loud and interrupts your viewing), and you can always hear the movies next door to your theatre. I could overlook all of that for a local experience, but the customer service gets worse every time I go! Once a movie didnt work and it took over 30 minutes for them to get it going. Then they did not offer vouchers or anything. Another time their was a cricket in the theatre that disrupted the entire movie. Now they have staff come in multiple times after the movie starts and SCOUR the audience for outside food or drink! If they see any food that does not look like their concessions, they come up to customers in the middle of the movie and TAKE the candy and THROW IT AWAY. Thats how much they care about their "no outside food or drink" policy. They would rather force staff to have awkward and rude encounters with paying customers. Well, they have lost regular customers now. Hope that dollar bag of m&ms was worth NEVER having me or my husband pay for a $10.50 movie ticket again. (Oh, and I spent $5 on popcorn. My husband had a small bag of m&ms with him.)

Have visited the theater multiple times since their renovation. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you pay close attention the owner is usually hanging around the lobby area, though most folks mistake him for a customer. Good sized screens, good sound, and the chairs, OMG the chairs are awesome, though if you go while tired you may actually fall asleep during a slow part of your movie. Its very nice to be able to enjoy a movie with a beer and some junk food. However, for me the thing that puts this place over the others is that you dont feel like you are packed into a cattle car. I bet the largest theater in the place only has 60 to 80 seats, some of the smaller ones have close to 30 or 40, so its not packed. Fewer people means less noise and what not to distract you from your movie. I am also not a fan of big groups of people so I feel like I have the space I need. If I could change one thing about the theater, I would have them open a line for people who just want tickets and no concessions, it would clear out some of the human traffic and reduce wait times.

Worst experience ever witnessed a couple getting kicked out because they were not aware of the policy of not bringing food and drinks in and the staff were so rude in kicking them out i felt bad for them while I was waiting in the lobby there was one worker Jessica that was so very disrespectful to the couple would have fired her on the spot even the manager asked her to be quiet while the couple was talking to the manager about not having there policies posted on the premises and I overheard them say that she was an attorney I would love to see them put a lawsuit on them because that was wrong for the way that was handled and all the couple was doing was asking questions and the Jessica worker was putting her two cents in where she didnt need to the couple was trying to talk to the manager but kept getting interrupted by the worker I wish the couple the best of luck and this establishment has lost my business.

Literally the worst movie theater in Arkansas, not Little Rock, the whole state of Arkansas. Yes they have comfy seats but thats only thing they have going for them. But even with the comfy seats, they arent stadium seats. Customer service is the worst. Ticket booth was closed so we got our tickets from the concession stand. Who does that? Once we actually sat down, the theater had crickets inside of it. You could hear the crickets the entire movie. Also, you could hear the sound from other movies inside your theater. Seriously the worst. In addition to that noise, every 30 minutes or so the air conditioning would kick on. It sounded like someone was about to come through the wall. Thank god for the AC running because when it wasnt it was ridiculously hot. Dont waste your time here. Go to Breckinridge or Regal instead. The customer service and the theater here suck. I will never go back.

Awful. Soooo slow. Have showed up for two separate movies early and stood in line until after the show started. Last time we left and drove all the way out to Chenal to see a movie on time. Its 9:27. My movie started at 9:20 and Im standing behind people ordering popcorn. Where is a line for people just getting tickets? Why is there no line for people who just want tickets? Why can you not just see that this is a problem? Fix it. When I asked the young man behind the counter why there is no line for people just wanting to buy tickets he told me its because the manager thinks people will buy less food if they dont have to stand in line with everyone else thats buying junk. Im not going to be buying food or tickets here any longer. Your seats are nice... But dont sacrifice service for that. I shouldnt end up being late for a movie that I show up 10 minutes early for. Thats ridiculous.
