Matthew McLellan

I went to a 9:40 showing of Desolation of Smaug. They had to restart the movie after 20 minutes when I informed them that the 3d was not working. They apparently forgot to "turn on" the 3d. So the movie got out 40 minutes later than it should have and they were unable to give a refund. Also, there is a loud feedback noise that can be heard in all of the quiet parts of the movie. Verdict: go to Pella or Ottumwa for movies if you live in Osky.

I am grateful we still have a theatre in Oskalossa. Ive always had a pleasant experience here. The employees are courteous, the theatre is well taken care of and they keep the theatre nice and cool in the summer but not too cold. They also play the sound loud enough you dont have to struggle to hear the movie.

As a film goer I really appreciate the effort they put into making the film experience enjoyable. They also have way better popcorn than Pella, and Ottumwa. Everytime I go there I come out happy and I couldnt be more satisfied.

I had an awful experience at this establishment. First of all, they left the lights on!!! Second, they said the movie was 95 minutes long and it was actually 120 minutes long and I was late to lifting. What the heck

Clean, decent prices, and a friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile. Its just a really nice little theatre in the nice little town. Great for a quaint date night!
