My family and I are dedicated movie buffs. We attended AMC Worldgate on a nearly weekly basis for years and even had the loyalty cards. Then came the fee for loyalty cards. Wasnt happy about it but paid the yearly fee regardless. Then came the reserve seating. Was definitely not a fan. I have a medium size family so getting seats all together at the window was difficult and I wasnt about to start paying extra online fees to get them ahead of time. Then came the ticket and concession price increases and virtual elimination of discount day and that was the end for us. We moved on to another theatre where we still can enjoy the movie even if it doesnt have leather reclining seats.

I appreciate and understand that if you have a large group, the assigned seating is preferable. But, I have gone to this movie theater and other AMC theaters with the assigned seating where I have been constantly harassed by other people and staff asking to see my ticket because someone accidentally bought the same seat as me after my purchase. Then they have the audacity to ask me to move even though my purchase was valid and before anyone else. It is so frustrating. Ive only ever experienced this with AMC theaters. They need to get their act together. Other than that the seats are lovely, but the harassment they put you through is NOT worth the environment.

There is much to love about this place! First off, you can get your tickets from a kiosk or pick them up from the kiosk if youve ordered online. There is a bar, and you can bring your beverage into the show with you. The reclining seats are the best Ive sat in! The Stubs Club is a great deal. Pay $12 to join and you pay no fees for online ticket purchases, you earn a free movie after $100, and you get free upgrades on refreshments. Pay for a medium popcorn, get upgraded to large for free...with free refills! They also have all the best new releases.

While I miss the $6 Tuesdays, it is well worth it since there are plush leather reserved seats. Most comfortable seats around. Update: AMC Premier now get $8 Tuesdays, deal is only good if you purchase through the box office in person. Bar area has been added and good concession area. Plenty of food options to do dinner or lunch beforehand. Have only had one bad experience here, AC wasnt working, and they gave us free return tickets. Other than that still most comfortable seats in the area and love that they are reservable.

I got to this theater A LOT. Reserved seating, clean, staff is good. Reclining leather seats are amazing. $6.29 non 3-d matinee with all these features = wonderful. The building lobby is beautiful now that the renovations are done. Garage parking. Only thing I dont like is that I buy a lot of tickets in advance, and when I go to one show, all the advance tickets pour out of the kiosk like its a slot machine in Vegas. But thats a small worry. I am so happy this theater is nearby. Great theater - thanks AMC!

My favorite movie theater. Very clean, well laid out. Sells seat and tickets ahead of time. Has very nice reclining seats with little tables attached for drinks and eats. Has a small bar with great drinks. Definitely has good popcorn. Hard to find everything you like in one theater but for me this one has it all, good quality sound and light, very good seats and popcorn and clean!

I live in Manassas and the AMC Worldgate is the only theater I ever go to despite the longer drive. The comfortable leather seats recline fully and youre never too close to your neighbors. The staff is very friendly, the theater is always clean and I love the bar in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this theater!

This theater has improved tremendously since AMC took over. It has incredibly comfortable reclining seats. Prices are about par for the course as movie theaters go, though there are some food options, like pizza (which I have not tried, but my friend tel me is pretty good) not found at all theaters.

First time there. Traveled an hour to take my grandson to his first movie and their drink machines werent working, so we had to purchase expensive water so we could eat our popcorn. It seems to me that they should have offered us free water or discount it, but they didnt. Not impressed!

Great place to watch a movie with family or friends. Seats are very comfortable and they do a fantastic job of keeping the place clean. The reserved seating is a big plus if you come in with a group. The real3d here is very good so I always watch the big blockbusters here.

Tickets are pricy but the recliner seats make up for it. The theatre rooms are small, so you dont have to much of a crowd. Warning, the front two rows are to close to the screen. I wouldnt buy the tickets if you cant get a seat farther back.

The place is amazing each seat has its own table , not too cold nor hot , employers were energetic and smiley , one bad thing is their popcorn .. U gonna bite alot of uncooked seeds which is annoying . Recommend it , would visit again :))

Fantastic renovated theater with recliners. You choose your seats when you buy tickets. Extensive food and drink options. Underground parking garage. Arcade is neat. Always clean. Relatively uncrowded. My favorite theater in 100 miles.

Reserved seating, leather recliners, good concessions (with small in lobby restaurant for something more than just popcorn and candy). There are also quite a few restaurants, coffee shops and an ice cream shop in the same strip mall.

Loved the nice seats and loads of space ... movie experience was great until I had something run across my foot and up my pant leg... was creepy but hope it was a fluke.. I will still go back.. the employees are friendly and helpful.

We ordered carry out at the restaurant. They were very accommodating and let me order a typically spicy dish with less spice. All the food weve gotten here has tasted great. The staff is polite and the place is nice and clean.

Very new clean location and seats are very comfortable. But just my luck, I got a broken seat it reclined but didnt go back up!! Food is also extremely expensive, but I guess thats just every movie theater these days!!

I am spoiled now, I cant go to any other theatre in the area because this one is so much better. Worlds Most comfortable seats, Not many people to a theatre and they have the new coke machines, who doesnt like that?

If you live in Herndon the convenience factor is why you go to this movie theater. The new renovation is nice with the reclining seats. The only downside is the movie screen/projectors are a bit dated.

Buying the tickets online..super easy, breezed right to the front, got the seats we saved no problem.icee and popcorn superfast....the chairs are great! Really awesome experience!

Love this theater. It takes them a few weeks to start playing the new movies but for me thats fine, I like to wait until the hype dies down. Reserved seats makes things easier.

We love this theatre for its comfortable seating (couches), cleanliness, and ease of access in worldgate plaza. They also serve some alcohol here which is nice some nights.
