A movie theater like it used to be, albeit, with updated technology. We saw How To Train Your Dragon 2 and had a wonderful time. Pony images on the wall from ages ago, new seats as comfortable as the old. A new high-res digital projector and get this: the sound was NOT LOUD like it usually is in the schlock chain theaters around my home. It was clear and could jolt you but didnt hurt the ears. The temperature was well controlled on a rainy day too. The concessions had all the candy and popcorn you could want but I snuck in my own candy from another place and no one came to check up on us to making us hide it. We did buy drinks and popcorn though anyway. This is a theatre that still has the magic of cinema experiences of my youth. Kudos to Island Roxy!

The Adventures of Dan&Stella

Very cute little theater. I recently enjoyed their free viewing of the Misty classic, and they took the time to give a little background info too. The staff was great. Concessions will put you in the poorhouse but that is truly the case with every movie theater. Mistys hoofprints are outside. Overall a good experience.

Only one screen, but they show current release movies, some what recently renevated. A pleasant experience.
