I love the park itself, it is very close to my home, but every-time I go , something goes wrong, and it is always about Safety. ON August 1st 2012, my child spotted a drawing 2 yo, and thanks to his observation (was 5 at that time), I was able to rescue the child, that was already unconscious and not breathing. I called the life-guard and pass the unconscious child to him (they have NOT noticed him). With CPR, we (life guard, and me) got him back to breathing, perfect, vomited tones of water in a few seconds , but then I found out by concerned moms in the pool that this was the second time this happened to this child in a day, and that another mom had rescued him (chocking, but breathing). Life guards were all celebrating after the incident, and it took me to remind them that it was ME, thanks to my 5 yo, that rescued the child, not them. Tried luck a year latter, as the park is so close. Lot of violence in the pool, and not one calling that out. The "Rules of the POOL" sign was empty. My hypothesis (I am a minority physician, with a passion on Health Equity) it that most people on the pool are minorities (AA and Latinos), and all the life-guards are not, (lack of "cultural Concordance", as define in Medicine, by our Institute of Medicine), so my hypothesis is that most of the life-guards feel awkward in making customers comply with the rules. So, after this, I requested my season pass (I did it that day) back. Last night, it was so nice, it was late, it was Sunday , and I thought , hey, lets go with my younger one out of the house for 2 hours to the park (she is 4 yo). We arrived at 6:40, waited for the brake to be over (Noticed, by the way, that the "Rules of the pool sign was still empty) and got in the pool. I noticed first hand that there were LOTs of "non rule complaints": despite the fact that there are big signs stating "Swimming suits needed to enter into the pool", there were a few children with regular clothing and one toddler in a underwear. We got into the pool, handed some floating garbage to the LIfe Guard (an M&M empty bag), and to my surprise, minutes latter, I found 4 little "POOP" excrement in the pool. Touched them (thinking it my be a rock, and noticed that they left a mark in the bottom of the pool, took a sample out of the water, and it was poop indeed. Told the Life-guard about this, and he , discouraged, told me "Again?". I did not know that there was poop before, but reassured him that there was poop now, and proceeded to show that to him. He told the supervisor right away. I did not leave right away, as I wanted to see what happened. The Supervisor spend 10-15 minutes talking (and giggling) with all the life-guards, while small children kept playing in the water. As no one was calling the children out, I called her out and asked her how come nothing has been done. "OH! I need to confirmed that this is poop. This is the first time this happens to me. will send someone right now". And I said," this is a public emergency: you take the children out of the pool, and then confirmed it". and with that, she turned back, went to the life guard, and fired the call for everyone to get out of the pool due to the "poop emergency". I am calling the local authorities today AGAIN, as EVERYONE deserves a safe water park, and I am afraid this is NOT. I want to get a comparison of incidents between this park and others, as I have a feeling that safety scores are different, and if not, something is missing, as with my three visit I found severe safety violations of some sort. What is going to take to act? a life? I am really worried, and the children of NorthEast Minneapolis deserves better.

Just left Jim lupient water with my fiance and 4 children, when we arrived there was no one swimming, we paid 30$ to enter the pool and sat and waited for the staff to allow us to swim, during this wait we over heard a child say that the life guard was removing poop from the water, so we decide that we no longer want to use the facility (never even getting into the water) so we address the issue with the staff and asked may we have our money back considering we didnt use the facility, we made it a point that they should have told us they were having issues with the water and gave us an option as to if we wanted to still use the water park and they didnt, they refused to refund our money and the staff agreed that they should have notified us. Worst water park Ive ever been to, first and last time Ill ever visit this water park.

The mini golf is so unnessisary, no one uses it at all and its just BORING, they could have done something way better than the mini golf for example, a lazy river. I would have even been fine if they made the mini golf somewhat appealing with cool obstacles. Secondly, I feel like Lupient is just for little kids, teens want somewhere cool to hang out too! Lastly, the constant breaks for a "poop emergency" needs to stop. This is gross and we need a better solution.

Today July 25, 2015. Its terrible as HELL, you dont get a refund, they are terrible with customer service. To Speak with a real manager they dont have one. Then they give you a number to call knowing NO ONE is available. IM A PISSED OFF CUSTOMER. They took my money knowing that the pool was closed for an emergency and could take an hour to let ppl in. I will be calling and reporting this foolishness.

Was at the water park 48 hours ago. Had a great time with my family. I noticed a young boy swimming oddly in water he could barely touch in. Before I could respond I saw 2 life gaurds watching him very closing and 1 of them slipped in the water to direct him to a shallower spot. Maybe he would have been ok, but its nice to know they are close by!

Water slides were fabulous! Three choices on speed, especially for those a little nervous about going under at the bottom, even had tubes available...staff took short breaks as needed...it has a zero depth entry, and lap lanes, and plenty of shade and sun to bask in...my friends and family had a great time!

Nice, but the constant poop breaks are annoying, and someone needs to tell those jack ass kids that just because its your birthday, doesnt mean you can act like act like a fucktard to everyone. Their ghetto trash parents arent much better either. Such retarded assholes.

Clean pools and sitting area, though changing room was a bit dark and damp. Concessions were lackluster but the 3 slides and fun fountains made up for it. Mini golf is a bit steep at $6/person. The pools were very well staffed... tons of life guards.
