Do NOT go to this theater if you are a female who is a terminally ill cancer patient (I have Stage IV Breast Cancer with cancer in ALL of my bones especially my spine) and who is permanently disabled because of the cancer having eaten away at the bones in my spine... I HAVE never been so humiliated and angry in ALL of my life... If you must go here and are a female make sure you have a RUDE, BURLY, BULLY of a man with you who doesnt mind picking on HANDICAPPED FEMALES... Their staff does NOT take into ANY consideration for handicapped people unless they are in a wheelchair... I got to the theater at 4:10pm on 2/28/2015 and was seated in my movie by 4:22pm. I cant fully sit with my feet on the floor because of the cancer in my spine... When my daughter and I sat down there was NO one in front of me so I sat like I normally do since having the cancer, with my feet on the back of the EMPTY chair in front of me... This RUDE, BURLY, BULLY of a man came in with 3 other members of his family and sat right where my feet had been for 15 minutes BEFORE they got there... He made gestures to me to move my feet, which I did not move and told him I had cancer in my spine and I physically needed to have them up like that... Oh, lord this big strong powerful man, HAD to have his way and went to the concessions stand to complain to the staff cause a PERMANENTLY DISABLED WOMAN was "being mean" to him by not doing what he demanded when there were other EMPTY rows available for him and his able bodied family to sit in... Heaven forbid those able bodied people move even though me and my daughter were there FIRST.... So here he comes back with the staff... I told the staff person the story and fully explained that Im DISABLED with CANCER IN MY SPINE... Does the staff care? No, that big mean man HAS to have his way so this staff person tells me to move down a seat, I paid my money for me and my daughter to watch the movie as well and were there way BEFORE this man and his family... Of course Im just being a HANDICAPPED CANCER PATIENT jerk though for standing my ground and for MY RIGHTS, huh? It wouldnt be fair for my daughter to get kicked out because this man is RUDE and INCONSIDERATE so I did as the staff asked and moved down a chair and put my feet on the back of that EMPTY chair... Im too upset to even try to watch the movie so I get on my cell phone (which I NEVER do in movies) to try to find a number to call or email the theater owners and let them know that their staff is easily bullied and that THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST HANDICAPPED WOMEN who arent in wheelchairs... Well, this big burly man cant just leave well enough alone and goes back and now complains that my cell phone is too bright... He got his way and had the DISABLED, HANDICAPPED, TERMINALLY ILL FEMALE CANCER PATIENT MOVE, but that wasnt good enough? I was fine and dandy BEFORE he and his NASTY NEEDS ANGER MANAGEMENT attitude came in and RUINED a movie I was looking forward to seeing... So, yes, by all means go here if you are a handicapped terminally ill woman who wants to be bullied by the staff, and also a man and his family who sits down 15-20 minutes AFTER you do and the able bodied family cant move cause THE MAN HAS TO HAVE HIS WAY EVEN IF IT MEANS DISCRIMINATING AGAINST A TERMINALLY ILL HANDICAPPED FEMALE....

I grew up in the Lebanon area and this is almost as bad as the old Triple Martin Theater that was over by Kmart. I have been to this one several times and each time it seems to be going down hill. There were 6 people behind the counter, I had to go to the concessions area to purchase my movie ticket, which wasnt bad, but it appeared that I was bothering them by asking for a ticket. There was no social interaction and when I asked what were their matinee prices, the guy looked at me and said he didnt know what that was?? He gave me my ticket and turned around back to his group. I finally asked, which way is this show and it took 3 of them to look at my ticket and tell me. When my wife and I got in there, the floors were sticky. When the movie started, there were a total of 6 large lights on each side of the room. While they dimmed all of them, the two up at the front directly to the left and right of the actual screen were dimmed, but on which took away from viewing the screen since that type of light on a large screen like that takes away from the move. I hardly EVER write reviews as I just take it with a grain of salt and go, but this particular experience was horrible and we most likely will not be back for a while.

Roxy is now hands down my favorite theater to go to. It is not very busy so there are typically short lines and not many people in the theaters so plenty of seating options. Unless it is a particularly busy weekend night, they close the ticket booth and sell tickets from the concession stand, which Im seeing many complaints about here but is a huge time saver from other theaters, having to stand in a line for a ticket and then stand in another line for your snacks. One stop shop. It is usually staffed by young kids, but they have always been friendly and taken care of everything promptly. I will say the movie times on their website are a bit messed up, I know showings disappear an hour before they start probably due to the web server being in a different time zone. Just check the times on Fandango or somewhere third party. Oh, and they have dividers between the urinals. I mean seriously Regal Providence, get your act together. Make me wait 20 minutes in lines and then not allow me to pee in privacy. The biggest thing I have to complain about is that they switched their ICEE machines to off-brand cola instead of Coke or Pepsi.

Dont get me wrong, when I go to the movie, a good screen is my main concern. The theater is not bad, slightly run down. Chairs dont lean back very far and the arm rest dont raise, which is a bummer. The concessions cost an arm and a leg, and then 35 dollars. I have only had one HORRIBLE experience at this theater. When "The Woman in Black 2" came out, me, my boyfriend, and his brother all went to see it. The theater was packed and quickly the situation rose to be unbearable. Two groups of teenagers (14-15 years old) raised a fit. Getting up, sitting down, yelling, taking pictures it finally got to the point people were leaving. Then the situation got much worse, police were called and the movie proceeded. But by that time, it was already half over. So, not too good. But the one redeeming quality is that the manager, tracked my boyfriend and I down, and gave us three free tickets. So...with 7 years of attending and only one bad incident, I cant complain.

The remodel is amazing! The only negative comment to make about this theatre is that you purchase tickets at the concession stand, which can make for long lines just to get your tickets. If you buy your tickets online (Fandango not available - just through Roxy) not only do you need the original credit card (Horrible if Im buying tickets for my kids) but you have to have the confirmation number. Tuesdays rocks there though, $5 movie tickets. Roxy, get into this century - at least get Kiosks that print tickets so you dont have to go to the concession stand. Maybe thats the point? Well, it keeps us from making it our number one go to for Movies, new seats and all.
