Good pizza place but the service needs work. It wasnt busy at all and taking in to account how long a pizza takes to cook we didnt get our food until an hour passed by. I dont know if they do that in hopes you will order more beer but that was very annoying and when the waiter finally came around to take our order it seemed as if he was upset with having to actually work. Also after the order I drank up my soda quickly and never even got a refill even after the food came and asked for a refill he never brought it over. So after experiencing that I wouldnt recommend anyone taking a date there unless you want to piss her off because of the places bad service. I am surprised people actually go here. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Good food though. As long as you dont get the waiter we had you should have a great time here. The food was awesome.

Today I was completely let down by Transfer. It was easily my favorite place for pizza, until today. Ive been coming here since they opened about 5 years ago, maybe every other month. Today was the first time that the pizza came to the table with the pepperoni under the cheese. I asked if they had changed how they made their pizza, and was told no this is how they make it. After 5 years of coming here, this was the first time I had received the pizza this way. In all honesty, its not a huge deal, but it changes the flavor of the pizza and leaves soggy pepperoni. Instead of fixing the problem, I was told that I was wrong by 2 servers. That the pizzas we had ordered before must have been flukes. 5 years worth. Right. Not the right way to handle a situation, but I may be wrong on that, too.

we called and tried to make a reservation for 5 people and they wouldnt let us. we got there at 5 pm and had to chase down a hostess to be put on the list and we were told that it was a 20min wait. 3 seperate parties of 2 came in after us and were seatede at tables next to eachother rather than pushing the tables together. We then sat at the bar and were told that we couldnt order food there and we had to find the bartender ourselves! After 90 plus minutes of waiting we just decided to leave and went elsewhere for dinner!! I would never go back to this place not even if they offered me free food!! it was just the worst expierence i have had in a very long time. I wish them good luck because even if the food is great it is going to be the service that is going to kill you!!!

We stopped in yesterday before seeing Madam Gaga and I am SO happy we did. Gluten free pizza is not only hard to come by, but when you do the crust usually tastes awful, has bad texture, and is overcompensated with too much cheese. Its like eating cardboard and rubber bands. This pizza is KILLER. The crust was flavorful, crunchy, not at all mushy or mealy. The sauce was nicely spiced with a little bite, which is how I make mine at home. I asked for "easy cheese" and they were SO on the money... just a small smattering of cheese, well done. The staff was also super friendly and seemed to really like being there and talking with people. Im from Illinois and I wouldnt hesitate to head up there just for pizza, its just that good.

First experience with Transfer. Placed a take-out order, so I didnt stay long which I was thankful for this evening, Saturday. Oh, my. Ill simply say the place was packed to capacity, and the food was good. Once I got my bearings and headed over to the pick up area it was about 3-5 minutes total to pay, get my order and get out. The service was good. The food was good. Ill place another order if not actually try the experience of the restaurant too, just maybe not at 6:30 PM on a Saturday. Crowds are not my thing and from this go around Id say thats the only negative for me other than the only parking is on the nearby streets; at least the street parking is free and not metered.

One of my favorites when visiting wisconsin around the milwaukee area. Prices are reasonable, especially considering how fresh and natural the toppings used are. Love the pepperoni, Italian sausage and their cheese blend is great. I like the alternative sauces you can get, like the garlic cream. Only issue I had last time was it tasted a bit more mayonnaise based than usual, but still good. Also the spinach artichoke dip was great as well. The atmosphere is inviting, cafe style turned from an old pharmacy building. Very creative looking place who showcases local artists on the walls and the staff have always been friendly whenever Ive been there.

This is one of my favorite pizza restaurants in the Milwaukee area. The menu consists mainly of pizzas, but there is a fantastic selection of them. They have a great selection of white-sauce garlic pizzas. The singler person sized pizza is filling enough for most folks, but if you are very hungry, you might want to get an appetizer too. They have a very good beer selection, and Ive been happy with the wine selection as well. The place is often crowded around dinner-time all week long, but as we often prefer to sit at the bar, its never been an issue for us. We love the atmosphere and the service. Weve never been disappointed.

I had a plain cheese pizza with garlic and fresh basil. The crust is very good, nice and doughy, soft with a nice bit of char on the bottom. However, as another reviewer mentioned the cheese is very bland. They only use mozzarella lest you chose to add another cheese as a topping. Adding a touch of provolone or parmesan to the cheese mix would step up the pizza so much. I give the pizza a B overall. I also tried the spinach artichoke dip. It was also good but not the best I have tried. But I would eat it again. They have no garlic bread, they should start serving garlic bread.

I went to try some pizza here the other night. I ordered 3 different pizzas. 2 with regular dough and one with gluten free. 2 with regular tomatoe sauce and one with garlic sauce. All of these pizzas lacked flavor. The sauces were bland and boring. I didnt like the taste of the pepperoni and one pizza had chunks of chicken that were dried out. I will not be returning here for pizza. The service was good however it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I think they are trying to do too much with such a simple thing.

My girlfriend and I just stopped in last night and was phenominal. We had the Davinci and the Chicken Potato. The garlic creme sauce on the Chicken Potato is possibly the best Ive ever had. Also, the pizza crust is to me, the perfect balance of crispy flaky not too thick. Plan on ordering two small pizzas so you can try two different styles. The decor is also great - the wrap around bar and the elevated seating felt inviting, and at night seeing the snow fall is fun too.
