I had avoided the scene out here for years, but my wife bought me tickets for eaux claires this year and I finally made it out to the fest grounds. And Ill admit I had a really good time. But since this is a review of the grounds themselves, not the festival, Ill stick to that. The area is pretty. Its really awesome to be right on the river and the wooded areas allow for a bit of peace during the rather crowded times of these festivals. It had rained a ton the weekend we were there, meaning there was a ton of mud throughout the grounds. And the walkways in and out of the festival got the worst of it. That was made even worse by the lack of sufficient lighting for these pathways. All in all, a great big place to have some fun. As long as youre not too concerned about getting dirty.

Great festival with a great lineup but I just spoke to a representative working in the office about a ticket mistake. Unfortunately she was insanely rude. Customer service is key to a professional business and she was extremely judgmental and out of place. Not sure how to spell your name but Tierra, you need to be more professional.

Ive been involved in the music industry AND have been attending festivals for about 20 years. The fact is, this venue is as good as they come, and its less than 5 miles from my home. Who knew? Seriously though - a fantastic, large, clean, convenient venue for a MASSIVE outdoor event. A+++

ExC Year 3 was great! The concert bowl was great, camping in the wooded areas was great for shade during sun and shelter during rain.
