Dont go to The Lakely during "Restaurant Week" unless you have several hours to spend. As I write this we just finished our entree. Weve been here for two hours. The table next to us got up and left after their appetizer saying they could not wait any longer (they were here almost an hour and a half). I dont know if its the Restaurant Week menu that is throwing them off, but be prepared to spend the evening. It will not be a quick experience. To top it all off, our waiter never once apologized for our wait. He knew we were getting to make it to the football game at 7. When he finally dropped our bill off at 7:22pm he made the sarcastic comment "I hope you get there before the end of the game". Completely uncalled for. The good news is, their music is awesome.

The portions arent huge but I can live with that. The trouble is the salt. This is the second time here and the food is so so salty. I mentioned this last time but if anything its saltier than before. Others Ive talked to have had the same comments. Cant they learn? Im not sure when Ill be willing to give them a third chance. I had the duck this time and the perch the first. Both VERY salty. Also their portion control on the wine isnt great. If you order white you get a smaller pour.

The drink menu is good and the service was excellent. The reason I did not give it more stars is the food menu - very very small options with small portions at a medium-high price. I would assume they add to the menu in the future, in particular chicken options. I personally liked the atmosphere, and the feel, however the tables/chairs are very close together. Would like them to do well, so we will be back for drinks.

7.6/10. Below average service and server had no knowledge of menu. Very, very limited menu. My food was undersalted and a miniscule portion. (I left hungry). Plus it was cold in the building! Neat atmosphere, but just overall "meh." I could have spent $58 somewhere else. Too bad.

Exciting new place in Eau Claire! Live music, great food, upscale setting but you feel comfortable to be casual as well. Lively and a lot of great energy here. Only downside thing is the wait for food may be longer when its busy but the wait staff is very helpful and polite.

Great food and drink menu. The music and atmosphere was outstanding. Yes they are working some kinks out but the restaurant is brand new. I am planning to revisit as frequently as possible. Very pleased that Eau Claire has a restaurant/bar of this caliber, finally!

Awesome, friendly service (by yogis, no less!) greeted us upon entry and were super helpful as they talked through the variety of cocktails and the menu offerings. Its a small, but well-curated, list of items, and I was pleased with my smorgasboard of selections.

I love to take myself out on a date here, especially when theres jazz in the air. Unique menu, great atmosphere. Free wifi would be nice but cell service works fine in the bar. Just had brunch, meh. Pricey and slow and the Bloody Mary was too hot for us.

Trendy drink and dinner spot. Lovely patio and kuube field. Try the koldboard sampler plates, great for groups. Nice drink selection, sometimes the drink/bar wait can be a little slow but staff are very nice. Live jazz and dj music during the evening.

Second time trying The Lakely. Upon arrival at 730 we were told 20 to 25 minutes to be seated. At 830 I checked back with the hostess and was told it should only be another 10 to 15 minutes... We finished our drinks and left.

Previewed the dinner menu (updated May 2017) the nite before I ate there. Was looking forward to the polenta. Disappointed to learn it was not available. The gnocchi was delicious, though. Update the menu as items change!

An interesting place. Unfortunately our bartender over charged us as she couldnt figure out your BOGO chip situation. Also had breakfast the next day. Coffee was very good. Food was average and service was below average.
