I attended this years after several years of skipping Jam to go to Country Fest in Cadott - and after this weekend, I remember why. My biggest complaint is getting to the parking lot at the end of the show. I attend these concerts with a handicapped friend and we park in Handicapped Parking. We ride the bus down to the grounds without a problem, but getting back to the lot at the end of the night is a nightmare. My friend does not have a visible handicap (no wheelchair, walker, etc...) but cannot walk up that hill. The handicapped patrons have to stand in line with anyone else that does not want to or are too drunk to climb the hill at the end of the night. Jam really should have a system that recognizes those parked in Handicapped area and get them to the front of the line for the busses going to the parking lot. Just a couple of my other complaints: the campgrounds are 1 mile away from the concert grounds and are only accessable by bus, there is ONE big screen to see the stage from the cheap seats - should be one on either side of the stage, the lineups for the past several years have not been worth the price of the tickets (sorry, I get much better bang for my buck at Country Fest). When I did go VIP to Jam, the only time we could eat at the "cruise ship quality buffett" was during one of the big acts - forced to choose btwn eating or seeing what we came to see. The "free drinks" were also only available during one of the bigger acts and the lines were so long at the bar we could only get one or two. The "airconditioned bathrooms" were always a mess with wet floors/over flowing toilets. Sorry Jam, Ill see you at Country Fest from now on.

This year was different and some things were good and some not so good. Loved being able to buy food with cash rather than tickets. However, no buses for people parking and not staying in campgrounds. Just small handicap bus which you could ride if there was space. The Sheriff Department deputies were, as usual, good and bad. The bad staff overshadowed the truly helpful deputies. Im in my 60s and got lost out in country first night when I left. I politely asked if I could please go straight on Crescent. The parking lot was almost empty and there was room to drive straight. The officer yelled at me and asked, "Do you know how to drive?" and then screamed at me to turn left. I said Ive just been driving out in the country for 1/2 hour, can I please go the way I know. I had 3 ladies from out of town also. They couldnt believe how rude and the officer was. He again yelled at me. I heard the same story from other people. Are you here to serve and protect? Bottom line: no reason to be MEAN and YELL.

Fun place for music. Decent showers. Regularly cleaned porter pots, golf cart services for handicapped. Overpriced goods from general store.

One of my favorite parts of the summer is attending blue ox. Even with extreme weather they put on a good show!
