Another place Id like to give a negative star review. For starters, the lanes have entirely too much oil. I mean like, my ball towel was saturated before the night was over, and I didnt even play 3 entire games. We were there sure a fundraiser, and entry was to include a pizza, and a pitcher of soda. Realizing most of the other bowlers had already received, and consumed their pies, I inquired as to the location of ours, only to be informed that it had already been brought. Funny, nobody told me, or my hungry children. The manager seemed quite displeased to be asked to provide us the pizza we were owed, and finally, begrudgingly, brought three measly slices. I asked if that was all we got, and he said "All the pizza have been brought out" Dude, we DIDNT GET OURS! Whatever, they were just barely doing what they had to. I would never voluntarily return there on my own, but I would probably go back if I was invited there. For the record, I prefer Brunswick lanes over AMF, and I prefer small establishments, rather than large corporate ventures.

Was having a good time with the family while bowling. The people in the next lane paid for 2 hours, but decided to leave 1 hour early, because the blaring music was too loud for their crying infant. They told us twice to bowl the rest of the hour they had remaining, so my step-son and son started using the remaining time. A bearded, eyeglass wearing jerk behind the counter turned off the lane on them, trapping my step-sons ball in the machinery. I went to the counter to inform them that the people who left, gave us their remaining hour they paid for, but the jerk kept saying " I saw them leaving and turned off the lane." He would not budge despite what I told him, and only returned my stepsons ball. I guess customers do not have the right to give away what they paid for- to anyone else. The lane was paid for, what was the big deal? What a jerk. I tipped the other guys twice earlier and kind of regretted it after this other guy pulled this crap.

Recently received a complete renovation. Inside is beautiful and a small arcade is added. Arcade has a few claw machines and a basketball game. In order to play you need to buy an AMF specific arcade card. There are a few other arcade games as well and an air hockey table. The bar is nice and has a good selection of beers. The pizza is good and the other food selections are good for a bowling alley. My only complaint is the service is inconsistent. There are some staff members that are awesome and go out of their way to make it a pleasant experience. But there are others that seemed like we were bothering them by asking for shoes. The weekly deals are also a huge plus. On Monday nights its unlimited bowling for ten dollars after 8pm. On Tuesday they have 2 dollar bowling and pizza slices after 8. Overall a great place to have a night out for the whole family.

Well the actual bowling experience is nice. Lanes are usually not broken which is a welcome site. The daily deals are pretty good considering how insanely expensive bowling is in the first place. The main problem I have with this bowling alley is the employees and the customer service. I was with a large group and they refused to give us two lanes even though there was not another group waiting for a lane, and on top of this, our lane was having problems so we were moved to another. The minute they close, and I mean 12:01, they turn on all of the lights and shut down the lanes. They then berate you until you return your balls and shoes to the racks. Im already paying a crazy amount to throw a ball, I shouldnt be harassed during my experience. Hopefully they can fix their staffing issues and general protocol.

Could easily be 5 stars! The server on Friday nights is a good idea, and ours took great care of us. The lanes were in great shape, and we had a great time. Two problems, however: 1. The food is punitively priced. How you gonna charge 14 bucks for 8 wings and not even provide blue cheese/ranch, wetnaps, celery or even a second bowl for bones? Our group would have ordered a fair bit more food if the prices were in line with, say, Applebees; once we saw the wing situation I realized the value just wasnt there. 2. The urinals reaaallly have to get cleaned. Overall cleanliness was pretty good but seeing a buildup like that is unpleasant.

Although they have recently updated the decor, and the atmosphere has changed slightly, none of it makes up for the disappointing service and lack of management. Ive been here for casual weekend bowling, and even a few summer leagues. They seem to have little to no respect for leagues, which is contrary to proper business practice. Seeing that leagues are almost guaranteed repeat business, you would think they would go above and beyond; think again! I have kept coming back, giving them the benefit of the doubt, only to be disappointed time and time again.

I have had multiple events at this bowling alley. The Pizza is good for the kids, the Beers are cold for the adults and the staff was very helpful. Every time I have had a event here I have had over 30 people attend and no one has ever complained to me about Tempe Village Lanes. Everyone seems to have a great time. I will be booking my next bowling event in June and I will book it at Tempe Village Lanes. I would recommend Tempe Village Lanes as a great bowling alley!

DO NOT GO HERE! This is simply the worst bowling ally in the world. They refused to let us bowl on the lane next to us despite the fact that only two other groups were in there. The employee told me there was a six person minimum per lane yet not a single lane had four people. And they are just rude. I dont know how they were able to compile a group of such total assholes. DO NOT GO HERE! I am not exaggerating. Ive gone here twice and I will never go back again.

Management is fantastic! They have affordable prices and are accommodating to a wide variety of people. We go there with a friend of ours who has special needs, and he gets all the help he can get and they are incredibly patient with him - more so than any other place Ive seen. They also hold buddy bowling for the same reason, giving the adults and children with special needs a steep discount. Five stars doesnt begin to say how much we love this lane!

Not a bowler, but my husband is, so I appreciate when an alley has some fun for me too! Tons of screens, nice clean arcade (with all games actually functioning), upbeat music, decent bar. Food is pricey for a bowling alley but WAY better than bowling alley food, really! A little understaffed on the weekdays, I feel bad for the few workers who are trying very hard to make everyone happy!

Could not even honestly give this alley 1 star. Worst management, totally unaccommodating, not the least bit interested in doing business with groups greater than two people. Wonder if the owner knows what is going on? Surprised the place is still open! Be careful! Show up with more than four people in your group and hired help will call the cops.
