This place has a great vibe. You really feel like youre on a tropical vacation! The problem is the service and the food. The food takes forever...and not because it is carefully constructed but because they are understaffed. The food was subpar (and Im being nice). But the service left a lot to be desired. The summer months is when this place makes money and they need to hire a few moe people to adequately run this place. Dear owners, please stop cutting corners becasue we like coming here but wont anymore if the service level remains the same.

This place is fun to hang out unfortunately the bartenders treat everyone like a tourist, they had tons of signs around advertising these great beer mixes for Leinenkugels, when we asked to try one they said " the tap for Berryweiss is outside and its raining" so they are saying these drinks are available except when its raining? lazy. Plus the tappers outside are under a Tiki bar, their products are way overpriced, but wouldnt be a big deal if they had better customer service. The service was slow and unfriendly.

We were out for a day trip last fall on our motorcycles with some friends and stopped in at Gilligans. Found out you could rent the house next door for a really decent rate and ended up staying over. Ate dinner in the restaurant (which was awesome) and then had a bonfire overlooking the lake. Later we strolled back over for some dancing to the live band. What a hoot! We REALLY want to come back again this year in the summer. Looking forward to another great time. THANKS!!

Incredible food, generous portions, good prices. Burgers and Wed. night wings are delicious. The service has not been good either of my visits. Waitress brought appetizer out after our meals, but at least we got it for free. Probably better when its not so busy.

Ordered a to go pulled pork BBQ sandwich, got home and it was missing the house made coleslaw that was supposed to be on the sandwhich. Gave it another shot a couple nights later, ordered the Gilly Burger which was missing the fried onions and BBQ sauce.

We were turned onto this place by local legend and author Jimmy who loves wing ding Wednesdays. Local lore has it that Jimmys boat broke down and Tony at the marina dropped him off to drown his sorrows. Great food - great place - great story.
