They have just updated to digital. Picture image is much nicer but the screen is still old and the old repairs show. Previous reviewer stated that there are new seats. They are not new. The theater had posted some things on the wall and are planning for new upgrades. I am very happy they made the change to digital and hopefully the new screen, seats, and carpet in the lobby (needs this desperately) will come soon. 1-1-16

A wonderful venue and accolades to the ownership for maintaining this gem. It took a tremendous capital investment to comply with the mandate of digitization. The seats and the physical screen will be addressed when ownership deems fit. It was a sad day when the Idle Hour Theatre in Belle Haven closed its doors, lets do all we can to patronize the lone star on Virginias Eastern Shore!
