Ive been playing at Zellwood Station GC for over 40 years. My teams, Edgewater HS Boys Golf, competed many times in tournaments there over the years...which were all expertly run by whoever the management was at the time....now the management is the best ever. The course is kept in immaculate shape, especially the greens, and has a very unique, hilly, challenging layout... you feel like you are in NC, WV, up-state NY, etc. vs. the flat, over priced, tracks of most Florida courses. Their very friendly restaurant/bar makes for a great 19th hole! Best of all, is the price...no course in Florida can match it. I have a group, of up to 24 players (coming from Zellwood, Orlando, MIFL, The Villages, etc.) who have played our mini-tourney there for years and still continue to do so every Tues., always looking forward to the affordable challenge.

Played here on a Tuesday morning a couple of weeks ago. Course was in decent shape and the price was right. HOWEVER, had specifically gotten the first tee time of the day at 7:00 due to a limited time frame to play. When we made the turn though, found that two other foursomes had been put out on the back and we ended up waiting on virtually every shot. Obviously, it is the courses right to do so but that practice of course management will prevent me from coming back.

Love, love, LOVE Zellwood Station CC! We play 150+ rounds per year at courses throughout Central Florida and Zellwood is our go to favorite. Always immaculate, friendly staff and golfing regulars, great prices, and most importantly, they have senior tees that actually give us equal footing with the younger golfers. As long as they keep their rates reasonable, we will continue to be steady customers.

I recently booked a tee time and paid online. At the gate, I had to let some stranger copy my drivers license. They had my money, I had no choice. Now I am worried about identity theft. Of course, they assured me the copy was safe, Yeah... Right. How many ids are floating around in whatever security or lack thereof to be copied and misused. No more golf or restraunt here for me.

If anyone loves to play a golf in a hilly ups and downs, this is the place to go. Most of the golf courses in FL are plane flat with a lots of water, but this one has a lots of hills, less water and you can also enjoy a volcanic crater hill where it is more dangerous than water hazards. Seeing is believing. I enjoyed here all the times.

Played Zellwood many times. Course is always in good shape. The greens are well maintained but some are so sloped they should be redone. Pin placements are sometimes so ridiculous that you can putt uphill past the cup and have your ball roll back down nearly off the green. Whoever cuts the holes would the Marquis de Sade to shame.

The personnel was very pleasant, as always. The course was OK to play. I have definitely seen it in better condition. The rough was extremely difficult. Considering the average age of the people who play there, etc. I would say that the rough is too difficult and should be cut so it can be a more enjoyable course to play.

I loved this golf course and plan on going back as soon as I can. The course is challenging with plenty of elevation changes. Also there were not too many people on the course so pace of play was great. When you first drive in it looks like a trailer park but dont let that fool you the course is in great condition.

Very good value overall, a little open but some challanging holes, I have played with a group of 20 with handicaps of 2 to 18 and we all enjoyed the rounds we have played here. We woul play more often but its over an hours drive from our destination.

The course is miles better than you would ever guess. My only regret is I lived close by for 15 years and just assumed it was not a great course. It is a great layout, extremely well maintained, and a great value.

Friendly professional staff. Challenging 18 hole course for both beginner and advanced players. The greens are spectacular and the fairways green and lush. Real bargain for this excellent golf course. Check it out!
