the theater is small and not that nice physically compared to the big movie theaters, but it has a charm to it and the small size has a nice intimacy. the owner is so friendly, selling tickets and chatting with customers, and he gives great little introductions before the movies. I no longer live in Syracuse but I try to visit the theater whenever Im back in town.

This is an original old theatre designed for silent movies many years ago. The owner comes out and welcomes people and speaks about the movie you are about to see. The films they get are "real films". They are not the mass produced tecno-junk called movies these days. If you enjoy a real film you will not be disapointed by their offerings.

What a dirty little run down cinema, if you could call it that. The screen must not have been much bigger than 60 inches and the seats about as comfortable as rocks. And for $9 on a weeknight? Wow. Good luck to them. I recommend staying in the comfort of your own home curled up to an old classic.

A great place to see better films, curated with great care. Youll love the selection, the owners intro to each showing, and the people. The venue itself has been updated - a bit - to make it a reasonable place to go, but dont expect blockbuster sound or display.

The go-to place for the smarter fare in Syracuse. Movie Tavern and Destiny are great for the big box office flicks but if youre looking to see the Oscar contenders, the break-out indies and films that make you think - this is the place to go.

The "Manlius Art Cinema" is family-owned and operated. Owner, Nat Tobin, is an expert at selecting fabulous, award winner films for his artistic minded audiences. His venue has been a staple in Manlius, NY for years.

Love this place! One of CNYs hidden gems. A family-run art house where the films are chosen with care and introduced with enthusiasm and insightful context. A refreshing alternative to the big-box multiplexes.

Great, diverse selections. Really fun intros to the films by the owner. Quirky screening room. Youll want to sit up front or the screen will appear to be the size of a postage stamp.

I drive an hour and a half just to go here. I appreciate the opportunity to see the films shown here that I cant find anywhere else. I think it is a nice little theater.

Great little local business that plays artistic films youre unlikely to see elsewhere. The decor could use some improvement but when its dark who cares.
