My husband and I were here this past weekend for our anniversary. Unfortunately due to a miscommunication, we missed the last tour which was very disappointing. We were still able to do a full tasting and we were very impressed with the wines. The ambiance was very nice and the staff was very knowledgeable. Despite arriving 30 minutes before close, the staff was more than willing to let us stay a while and enjoy a bottle on their beautiful deck (the Rebel Red, which was fantastic). We ended up buying 3 bottles, and honestly, I will be keeping an eye out for their wines when I see Virginia wines available here in Maryland. I would definitely recommend visiting this winery if you are in the Shenandoah Valley area! Doing so really started our anniversary weekend off perfectly!

In visiting of my son and daughter in law who moved to Harrisonburg VA from Chicago down town a couple of months ago. This was our second visit since, but the first visit to vineyard in east region of USA.. Our luck hit to Shenandoah Vineyard 2 days ago .Bingo. TC was friendly, knowledgeable and fun creator during the tasting time. My teams faces turn to red (but me-driver) at the end of 10 tastings. Left with 3 bottles-Cabernet Sauvignon, Rebel Red and Ice wine.Was good time . Thanks.

Shenandoah Vineyard is the best. There are many vineyard in the North Eastern Virginia area, that are good. However none seem to be able to do what Shenandoah does, the atmosphere,knowledge of the polite down to Earth staff,and the unique taste of their Rebel Red and Fiesta. Is what makes them the Total Package for me. AAC

Easily accessible from I-81. Found the white and red wines to be generally well-balanced and easy to drink, apart from Chambourcin (mystified by this grapes following). Tasting Room Manager seemed very condescending and dismissive,which diminished the visit considerably.

I loved the wines. None of them were bad and some were excellent. The women working in the tasting room were really fun and informative. The setting was lovely as well. It was one of my favorite wineries Ive visited in Virginia.

Had a lovely tasting with T.C.! She was warm and welcoming and she knew her stuff. The 10 tastings for $10, was an excellent deal and the wine was delicious. Left with a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon.

TC was friendly & knowledgeable about the wines. I really liked the med. sweet riesling. The porch was a nice quiet spot to sit and take in the views. Great way to start our vacation!

The original Virginia winery that started it all. Friendly family operation with great wines, laid back atmostphere. Picnic tables, gift shop, tours, just 3 minutes from I-81.
