We had a wonderful time there today, enjoying the spectacular view of the fall colors. Everyone was extremely friendly and very welcoming to our dogs, who joined us in the dining area near the fireplace. The food was delicious (we tried both the salmon plate and the cheese plate that included locally made goat cheese), especially with the bottle of wine we selected to have with lunch after our free wine tasting. The directions on the website were perfect and the photos posted represent the place very well. We hope to return often !!

A picturesque, warm and quiet spot on the edge of the Shenandoah Valley. Genteel Brad and lively Krista Foster make everyone feel right at home. A large deck overlooking the vines in the summer, and a cushy, comfortable great room for cooler weather are the perfect place to sip a glass ot two. The first-class chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon are especially worth trying. Cast an eye, too, at the magnificent walnut beams in the great hall.

Nice winery. The wines were goods and there was some variety. The person in the tasting room was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The setting is lovely and there is a lot of seating inside or on the porch or even on the lawn. They were very willing to let people explore the grounds. All around a great experience.

The vineyard is secluded and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The main house was warm and featured a quaint country feel. We had private cellar tasting with John who is one of the three owners. The winery and vineyard is family owned and operated. Above all the wine was AMAZING.

I moved to the Shenandoah Valley 3 years ago, and have enjoyed visiting many wineries in the area. North Mountain is a favorite; nice wines, nice view, knowledgeable and tastefully attentive staff, great live music! One of the first places I take my guests.

Love it here. The owner is Bavarian, the wine is unique and excelleny, the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. We come here over and over. The staff is super knowledgabe about wines and VA history. Its a mini vacation.
