This is the fanciest fish store Ive ever been too! It was obviously master-planned from the beginning with how the fish tanks are built into the walls which are curved and scalloped into little enclaves. What impressed me most was the condition of the tanks- ALL crystal clear water with fish swimming around and looking happy overall. They have a saltwater only enclave section that was mighty impressive- section and sections of corals and similar saltwater plants nicely organized for display and sale, and they had some very interesting invertebrates and creatures (nice marine shrimp selection). I dont have a saltwater tank but just going through this section made me want one! Other than the beautifully-presented fish, they have quite a lot of supplies. What most impressed me was the depth of items they had- such as the hard to find substrates that are packed in water with bacteria (they even had mini versions of these to help your betta tank get cycled and ready to go!), marine substrates, some unusual (but very small selection) tank decor, etc. They had some nice decorative open tanks with apple snails and live plants, well-displayed empty tank setups for purchase... overall impressive! They have things that you wont find at the chain stores which was fun to find. Other than fish, they had an entire reptile section with some geckos, tarantulas, turtles, and some harder-to-find reptiles I forgot the name of, along with all the supplies you would need. Overall, not only did the fish/animals look well taken care of but you have an enjoyable time actually walking through and browsing this place unlike some other fish stores Ive been to. This is a great place to bring kids, just a great place overall! I did find it humorous that two people wondered into here looking for the "Living Planet Aquarium" just down the road. Must bring in some great business for this place. ;) Only downsides I found were the prices and the customer service. A few inexpensive fish I noticed the price of were priced $1-3 dollars higher than some other local fish stores. But this can be expected due to the look of this place and the great condition of the fish- and I dont mind paying a bit more if I feel my fish are well taken care of and wont have diseases. I also found the one worker who helped me only moderately knowledgeable, but I never trust fish store workers anyway- at least there were lots of workers around to ask for help if needed. Overall, impressed!

Our family has been going to the Aquarium since it was in its old location behind Blimpie/Wendys down the street on 7th closer to 94th. We have watched Brad go from a one man show to a full blown aquatic store. He is extremely knowledgeable in saltwater aquarium tank/coral/fish, From starting your tank, with live rock to educating you on how to care for it and getting it to thrive. He is not just the "saltwater guy" either. He has fresh water fish and he is knowledgeable about them as well as diseases that happen in fish because they are a temperamental pets. He also has other reptiles now. You have to be patient with the employees because they take their time with each customer. I have been in when Brad is not there and they are with other customers paying attention to them and trying to answer their questions and concerns, I personally have heard them asked questions they dont know the answer to and asked them some myself, if they dont know they say so!! It is a large field to know the answer to every question that they get asked. The door doesnt say Marine biologists are on site people!! No he does not have a huge staff and you sometimes have to wait your turn, but taking the initiative and telling them you have a question when they finish with the customer they are with lets them know you have questions and are seriously interested in possibly purchasing something and not just browsing the store. This is not a car lot or R C Willey where you are attacked by a salesperson the second your foot crosses the threshold of the store!! And yes there have been employees that have lacked in customer service skills too, nobody is perfect, but if Brad doesnt know what is happening while he is not in the store how can he fix it? Be tactful and contact him through his email or leave a message for him to call you!! Yes, his prices are a little more than other stores but look at his store people!! His salt water tanks and aquariums are amazing and it takes money and time to have them look that way!!! If you ARE a saltwater/coral reef owner you can appreciate just how hard it is to have a tank that thrives let alone as many as he has in various stages of growth. Yes I am defending this store because I have read to such bad reviews and I am tired of seeing all this negative on his google reviews!! Positive needs to be there as well!! Sometimes knowing and observing gives you quite an education!!

Best. BEST fish store anywhere!!! Their product selection is huge and the fish are always high quality! The customer service is great! Tanner and Tyler are fantastic in the saltwater area,on multiple occasions Tanner has been very through with getting to the bottom of any issue i have. they helped me through my issues, informed me of what I have to do to get rid of it to the exact. Very helpful and friendly I could tell they both speak from experiences. The fish prices were LOW, but the quality was the best I have ever seen! not to mention they have a lot of member exclusives to save even more money! The store in a whole is very organized and extremely clean. It doesnt have that fish store smell. I will be going back and I highly recommend you visit.

Let me just say that this is a really nice store. Its large, clean and well organized. That being said, I wish they employed people who actually knew anything about fish, or cared at all about their care. The tanks they keep the fish in are smallish, but not as bad as some other pet stores Ive been to. My biggest problem is that the employees are only there to sell you fish. They dont know how to care for them, and they dont know how to answer your questions about the fish they sell. So, if you are going to buy anything here, DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST, so you know what you are actually getting into. They will sell you anything you want, even if you are sure to kill it. I really just wish this store were owned by the awesome people at Fish 4 U.

Customer service is poor. I have bought fish, plants, and put up with their lack of customer service, because I dont want to drive that far. But when Tyler G was more than rude to me when I started asking some questions I decided to take my business elsewhere. I have spent a lot of time and money buying stuff from you guys and this is what I get in return? Learn how to run a business. I dont feel very appreciated and I am sure other businesses will appreciate my time and money more. The other reviews on here with responses saying they will take into account what you have to say is a load of crock. That is just them trying to mask the negative reviews.
