Came down from PA and it was our first time visiting Florida. My husband and I wanted to have an awesome time airboating! The airboat part was awesome and the tour guide rocked but the lady owner/manager through us for a loop. When we got there, my husband went to use the restroom and while he was there she explained to me that the other group of people who booked for the same time as us who were suppose to be on our boat cancelled. We had no connection with these people. She then said to me that we might not be able to go out because the boat needs to be full and we drove an hour and a half to this palce or we now have to pay for these empty seats on the boat. She then said how expensive it is to run the boat and pay the drivers. When my husband got back to me he was a little confused by the look on my face and the lady said to me, are you going to explain to him what happened. She didt even have the courtesy to tell him. He then said well dont you hold there credit cards for these types of situations. She said we only do cash and check, credit card machines are too expensive. She then went on about how expensive it was to the driver for gas and so on and told the driver "to keep it easy on us and not use too much gas." There was no contract to sign, nothing stating the risks of what we were doing. The only reason we would go back would be for the tour guide. Oh and did I mention the place was booked the whole day except for our time so obviously lady you are making some money! I thought southerners were suppose to be nice!

This was the highlight of our visit to Winter Haven in January 2017. Captain Flame was very informative and made the airboat ride interesting and exciting. He knows where the alligators hangout and you will see many. It is a must see for young and old. They take pictures of your group and when you get off the boat they welcome you to the dock with the pictures. When you leave there, venture over to Cherry Pockets for dinner, in RV park where the food is excellent and its a come as you where we fit right in with our windblown looks from the airboat ride. This was a great day from start to finish thanks to Captain Flame. We will definitely do this again in 2018. The Bennetts Pinckney, Michigan

Recommended to me by a friend, Alligator Cove Airboat Nature Tours lived up to all our expectations. Its run by a genuinely friendly family of locals whose love of the land comes from family roots going back 140+ years. The weather was perfect for alligator sighting, and we did spot seven or eight of them in addition to other wildlife and some amazing scenery along Lake Hatchineha that I didnt expect to find in Florida. Unlike other airboat tours I investigated, this one was very intimate with few other boats anywhere nearby. Worth the extra drive time to get there. Also, its close to Bok Tower Gardens, so you can make a great day trip from the two.

March 10, 2012 WOW, had my 5 year old granddaughter and 8 year old grandson with my son and I and they had a great time. They could not believe how close we got to the alligators and snakes. And they loved the airboat, my grandson is a speed freak and he just loved it when we went off the water and onto what looked like solid ground. Captain Carl made it a special trip for the kids. He has an amazing eye for spotting the wildlife. Even the birds we saw where amazing and we saw a lot including 4 eagles. This was a blast for the kids and a bucket list item for Grandpa. Everyone was impressed. A great Adventure!!!!

We had so much fun, had smiles on our faces the whole time!. I have been wanting to do this for years. This has been rated so well and everyone is right. We were visiting from Wisconsin and calling to schedule was super easy, finding the place was also easy. They made sure to tell us dont listen to google to take the first left , keep going.. We seen alot of gators and bald eagles and many more animals. The boat ride was so relaxing and heart pumping at the same time! Thank you so much for education and a great time! Today was my 4th airboat ride with Alligator Cove in 9 months. It is a great experience and fun for all ages. Easy reservations and super friendly staff. Each trip is unique so a repeat customer, like myself, finds it interesting and fresh. Captain Flame and Captain Darald are full of old Florida facts and are very knowledgeable with animal identification. I highly recommend taking a break from "The Mouse" and see what Florida is all about. Kudos to Alligator Cove Airboat Nature Tours. Well be back.

Best time ever. Literally. Our whole family agrees that this was the best alligator tour weve been on so far (even beat the New Orleans trip). We got there, went right on the tour, no waiting around or other nonsense. The boat was so fast and exciting, I could not stop smiling. If you want a no nonsense tour while seeing alligators, birds, bald eagles and cows in the swamp, this is the one to go on!! We had so much fun, I feel like we owe them more money.

A must see while on your disney world trip or any other trip near this area. I have never done one but this one, but i can tell you that after calling others and comparing the prices for the time on the boat this one definitly beatz it by far. The boat captian waz great and knowledgeable, plus the bonus* is Dee takes your picture on the boag and gives a developed copy of it, how nice is that! Dont waist your time callin around just bool your trip here, have fun!

Best air boat tour on the north half of Florida! My wife and I were staying in the Orlando area but we wanted to do a boat tour of the Everglades without driving 5 hours one way to the Miami area. After searching for a lot of places this one not only delivered on price, but also on the experience. Our captain has been riding air boats on the Everglades for 50 years. This was my wifes favorite part of our 9-day Florida trip!

Captains Darald and Dee made our airboat ride more than a tourist event! Our kids had a wonderful time, they LOVED it!! I dont think you could find another airboat ride that offers so much. Well pass buy any other company to go back to Alligator Cove each year, dont be fooled by the bigger companies, this is the one that you want!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE, you have to try it!

I had read the Google reviews which I ended up booking a trip with them very happy I did would recommend them to anyone looking for an Air Boat ride. Had Amazing time and it was so worth it..
