I enjoyed my visit here. I would rate my visit 3 1/2-4 stars. So usually my go to theater is Studio Movie Grill off of Hwy 6. However this theater was the half-way point for meeting a friend for dinner and a movie. We went on a Saturday evening at 3:30 to see the movie "Sleepless" (which I rate a 2 1/2-3 stars out of 5, wait till it comes out on Redbox). The theater appeared to be clean. Upon entering I had to ask for a menu. I sat down with my friend and when we were ready to order we pushed to little button on the table and waited. And waited, and finally I flagged down an employee who proceeded to tell me that the buttons do not work and to order you have to raise your menu on the table. How would someone who has never been there before know that? It would have been nice for the employee at the front who handed me my menu to inform me of that. Anyhow, my friend and I ordered the game day platter and split that. We both also ordered margaritas. We asked the server if we could mix and get strawberry/peach margaritas, though they were not listed on the menu as a swirl. They obliged without issue. The margaritas were fantastic! Some of the best I have had (though I drink very infrequently, so I might not be the best judge). However, I would have rated the margarita even higher if our rims had been salted or sugared, but that option was never given to us. The food was surprising good. I thought it rivaled a restaurant appetizer, though I do have to agree with the majority of the other reviewers here, our food was served lukewarm, verging on cold. I was tempted to send it back, but did not want to have to wait. When the food runner brought us our food, we asked for a couple of limes for our margarita , he acknowledged us, but never returned. Our theater server though was great. I wish I would have gotten his name. He had a cast on his arm and was still hustling and serving the entire theater by himself (maybe 15 people). He was efficient and friendly and had great service. He apologized for the person that delivered our food and never returned with the limes and went and got them immediately, even though I told him to not make a special trip for them. Additionally, there was a lady who brought several small children with her, and they were being loud, talking and distracting from the movie. She then gave her child her cell phone to play on without muting it. I asked the server to please ask them to silence the phone and he did so without any further issues. I appreciated that. I wish that the arms on the chairs were able to be pushed up, I think the design of the chairs with rigid arms is horrible. I would also hope that management makes a real effort to get the food out when it is HOT. I was surprised with how empty this theater was on a Saturday evening. I sure that the reviews have some to do with it. It is nothing that some tweaking and training cant fix. Overall, I would return. I found myself craving the margarita and game day platter the next day. The ticket prices were cheap compared to other theaters, only $6.50. And lastly, I enjoyed myself. I most likely will return here when I want to see another movie over my usual Studio Movie Grill, whose theater is fancy, but whose food is overpriced for the portions and just not that good.

I wish I didnt have to give it a star at all. This location has really lost its good name. The service is horrible and the staff is even worse. We ordered 4 simple things...nachos, fried cheese, and two frozen lemonades. The food came out, but we waited FOREVER for our drinks. The movie start time was 6:30, we arrived around 6:00. The previews had started before we even got waited on and we were still waiting at 7:40 for 2 drinks. I kept asking the waitress whats taking so long and she said something about the bar being full. What does that have to do with my drinks over an hour later? We didnt order any alcoholic beverages, we wanted lemonades. I asked her to at least bring me some water because I had eaten all my food and I was thirsty. She couldnt even tell me how long that was going to take. By the way, I never got any water. She comes back about 15/20 minutes later to ask if everything was okay. No it is not okay, because we still didnt have drinks. I told her I want my drinks, but I was not going to pay for them because it was taking so long. She told me that I was still going to have to pay for them, management wouldnt take them off my bill and even asked if I still wanted them or not. Well mam how much longer will it be? She still couldnt give me an answer. At almost 8:00, while still waiting, I decide to get up, get my own drinks, and see a manager to get some results. As I am headed towards the bar, I see another waiter and a tray of drinks. I ask him were those my drinks. He couldnt tell me which drink was which, saying they all looked alike. Shes mad because I have approached him for my drinks. The drinks were so watered down and in the smallest plastic cups for the price. Did I mention it took her no time to bring the bill after we got our drinks and even faster to come back and get it. The movie was great, but the service was HORRIBLE. You all will be closing your doors like the Richey Rd. Movie Tavern, if you dont acquire better staffing. What a way to spend my birthday weekend. I will NEVER return here again and make sure my friends and family dont either.

If you want horrible service, horrible food and want to waste your hard earned money then this is the place for you! Let me start by saying I bought my movie tickets a week before the movie came out online. At the bottom of the ticket it said to skip the box office and go to the usher at the entrance in front of the movie. So thats what I did. The usher said I needed to go get the actual tickets from the box office. I was like okay whatever. I get up to the box office and the lady tells me she thinks this movie is sold out and there might not be any seats left. I said I bought tickets online a week prior so there will be at least 2 seats for me and the person Im with. And she told me to go inside and to go check for myself . So she and the security guard went with me inside of the theater and it had to be like 40 empty seats in there. But most of the seats were in the front. She said "I dont know if you want to sit in the front cause thats all thats left." I said "I dont care where I sit, yall took the money for these tickets from my credit a week ago." So I got my tickets and we went in. I ordered from the menu and on the menu it said half a pound of hot wings for $10.90. So I order that expecting to get at least 10 wings and some French fries. They gave me 5 WINGS!!!! For $10.90!!!! And no French fries!!! Not a good size of wings, Im talking about the little winglets! So I paid $2 for each wing. I asked the waitress is this correct and she had a prissy attitude and she was like "yea". I felt so let down especially because the person I was with has never been to the movie tavern at willowbrook. And I havent been to this location since 2014. Horrible experience!!!
