My family and I come here all the time and always spend close to $100 dollars with each visit. Unfortunately due to managements "the customer is always wrong" policy my family will no longer be giving this theater our business. I woke up Tuesday July 14th and attempted to purchase tickets from the silverado theater website and tried several times to do so, when I got to the last step of the process the website would no longer work and would not take me to the payment page. I called to ask if I could purchase tickets to the showing over the phone as was told that I had to come in and it was not their policy to sell tickets over the phone. I tried for a fourth time to purchase tickets through the website thinking that maybe it would work if I was patient, AGAIN the website would not work and showed that the tickets I tried to book in previous attempts were already sold. They were not. I called a second time and asked to speak to the manager. He was no more helpful; instead of allowing me to purchase the tickets over the phone as a one time courtesy he blamed my internet connection for the reason their website was malfunctioning. Then when I asked him why I could not purchase tickets over the phone he lied to me and told me, "Im pretty sure its uhh illegal." Illegal! I asked him if every other business that accepted payments over the phone was illegally conducting business to which he had no better reply than, "its not our policy." It must also not be their policy to keep the customer happy while making money. If the business did one over the phone transaction for two adult and one child ticket seven days a week everyday of the year they would make around 2000 dollars. Multiply that by how many other people would purchase tickets over the phone and they are missing out on valuable revenue. Over the phone credit transactions are not illegal and not subject to technical difficulties like electronic purchases. If Silverado wants a manager who cares about the customer and the bottom line they need to hire someone else.

Went there to watch a AAA movie, about midway to act 3 the video cut/blacked out. That alone was annoying, but I could manage. What really ruined my experience was the fact the audio kept going, pretty much spoiling the last part of the movie. A employee came in about 2 minutes after the video went out to tell us to remain in our seats and to continue to wait while the audio further gave away the movie. Aggravated by the lack of speed resolving the problem, around five or six minutes of continual audio, me and another of my party found the manager and asked for a refund. Rather rudely, the man said, "[we] saw over half of the movie and so [we] were no longer entitled to a refund." I told him, "We paid to watch a whole movie. We watched half, true, but then it was taken away and we were basically kicked in the balls." "I have over fifty people in this building," the manager replied weakly. "That doesnt mean I can stop power outages." "You only need one person to hit pause or stop a movie." "Sir, go back to the theater, I will have the movie rewound to a few minutes before it cut out." Unsatisfied, but seeing that this was going nowhere, me and my friend went back to the theater, where the movie continued several minutes AFTER the video went out. What I took away from this whole experience is that they dont give a damn about you once youve paid their price; they got your money, and thats all they cared about. NEVER, in my life, has the experience I have paid for been treated with such disregard. Do not go to Silverado 16.

Great Theater. I have liked this place ever since it opened. Its very convenient and close by and it is a tiny bit cheaper than the Palladium (or so it seems). Even with the addition of Assigned Seating, the theater is the same. Yes, when the theater is crowded, it can be a pain to ask people to move (but those are the rude people who dont like to abide to the rules.) I rather have a guaranteed seat to sit with a date, then a bunch of single seats scattered about. People, rules change and we must be flexible. You can buy tickets online ahead of time, so do that. At the box office, you can choose whatever seats are available. If you want a specific seat, arrive earlier. Its first come, first served and it has always been that way.

Nice, Clean theater. During our first visit after sitting down in the theater, the manager came into the theater and announced that one of the projectors was down for the movie we were seeing. They politely explained that they could give us our money back, we could pick a different movie, or we could upgrade to the 3D version of the movie for free that started in about an hour. We decided to upgrade to 3D. Since we had an hour to spare we grabbed some food and drinks from the restaurant/bar inside. Surprisingly good food for a movie theater. We got fried pickles and quesadillas that were good restaurant quality, and not too highly priced. Staff was very nice also.

GOD BLESS SANTIKOS! I will never stop singing their praises. Very, very few businesses offer such great deals, quality service, and genuine community charity. I am so proud that the Santikos bros. bequeathed their beloved franchise as a non-profit charity to the city of San Antonio. I will NEVER go to another theater again. BTW, get their loyalty rewards card....The initial gift they give you is worth more than than the cost of the membership and the rewards are amazing....I get something free every time I go. Free Popcorn, Free ticket, Free Soda. Its really run like a charity for the community. I have nothing but respect and praise for Santikos!

This place has been going down hill in the past couple years. I used to come here once a week now i go to the Palladium even thought its a further drive. Managment doesnt seem to car about any problems or situations with their customers. Went to get tickets for a date night and ended up staying out later than expected. The next day we try and get our tickets redeemed and was denied. Their new policy is you only get a raincheck within 30 mins???? That makes 0 sense if im there within those times im going to watch the damn movie. This and managments lack of professionalism has deterred me from going back and ive been a loyal customer for years.

The main parking lot out front gets extremely hectic, and the lanes are tight and people get impatient. Best to just go straight to the parking areas off to the sides of the theater and not deal with the craziness. The theater itself is nice and it was easy getting tickets at the electronic kiosk. First theater Ive seen where you pick your seat, so for a popular movie, you might want to do that online, well ahead of time. Concessions are fast. Maybe one more butter machine by the soda area would be helpful to speed things up a bit. The seats are comfy and recline a bit, and there is plenty of leg room. Overall, a good theater.

My go-to choice for movie theaters in my area. The drive to get to it is about 30 minutes further than some other theaters but I have always enjoyed my visits. The staff are always friendly and prompt with anything I asked for. The ticket prices are low, and I havent been in an overly crowded theater yet. They let you pick your seats when you buy the ticket, and there are a large selection of options for movie viewing (3d, normal, or something called AVX). It might be an older location but has been well maintained and is located in a moderatly easy location to get in and out of.
