I visited this theater with the intention of taking my younger siblings, which I have temporary guardianship of, to see a movie that happend to be rated R. I PURCHASED and RECEIVED my tickets stating I assumed guardianship and began to walk inside when the attendant at the booth called security and the off duty police officers to tell them we were trying to sneak in and to set up an additional podium with a manager at the end of the hall before the theater entrance. We were denied entrance because I did not have guardianship papers and we were treated very disrespectfully. I am fully aware that the manager was doing her job but to be sold tickets, have our tickets torn at the initial podium only to have a second podium set up SPECIFICALLY to deny our entry is beyond ridiculous. This theater is notorious for minors bringing alcohol and leaving beer cans laying around but instead security was concerned with a young woman bringing her siblings to a movie. My family is disgusted with the lack of professionalism and will not be returning. Stick to cinnemark theaters!!!!

I Just Like It Because Its A Hole Lot Closer To Where I Live In McKinney, Tx. & I Sometimes Go Up There When A Pretty Show Is Up There Where I Really Go See "But" Other Movie Houses Are Pretty Far Out So I Just Go To The One Close Bye Tho & Really My Favorite One To Go To "But" Even If I Had Enough To Pay On Gas Money Then I Will Go Further Out To A Nother Movie House To See A Great Movie To See Tho "But" This Will Have To Do For The Time Being Tho "But" I Still Love All My Favorite Movies When It Comes Out To Theaters To Since Ive Already Have A Hole Bunch Of Good Movies That I Have I Sometimes Watch It When Im Not So Boring From One Movie To The Next One Then Im Not So Boring Anymore Tho "But" Its Only If I Get So Boring "But" I Can Keep Myself Going At Times Tho....☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

Ive lived in the Mckinney area for about 10 years and have visited this theater on and off throughout that time. Typically their ticket prices are lower than anyone else and it is my opinion that it is likely because they have been there so long they have paid off their mortgage? That being said it tends to attract a crowd of people looking for a budget. That will usually mean larger families with many kids. If you are going to see a movie that kids can get into expect a lot of noise and talking. The seats were nicely recovered several years ago from a fabric to a leather type product. That being said it is very tight Theater seating. If youre looking for a value on your ticket price it is the place to go.

No lo recomiendo. Mal olor, el piso todo sucio de palomitas, los asientos rotos, poca higiene y poco cuidado claramente visible. La pelicula era a las 4:00 pm y dieron 30 minutos de anuncio o sea la película empezó a las 4:30. Mis niños ya estaba impacientes esperando a que comenzara. Es un lugar al que nunca más regresaré.

Concessions are comparably priced, employees are usually pretty friendly and helpful. Its hard to complain when first-run movies are budget priced – about $3 for matinee and $5-ish for the evening – but lets nitpick. 1980s decor is original, not retro. They just put in paper towels in the restrooms as an alternative to their weak and outdated air dryers. Climate controls are sometimes weak during peak hot/cold seasons, therefore dress in layers. There are the occasional broken seats or sticky spots on the floor, but again, Im usually comfortable and satisfied with the movie-going experience they provide at those prices.

I read that it was renovated but Im guessing it has been quite some time since that renovation. It could use another facelift in my opinion as it felt dated. If it were 1999 Id have a different opinion, but its 2016 and it felt below average. I would also say they are the most uncomfortable movie theater seats Ive ever sat in. While it felt dated and I hated the seats, I do have to say that I was amazed at the prices. It was maybe $5 per ticket. I was honestly shocked when I saw the prices of the tickets and concessions. The sound and picture were also on par with other more modern theaters Ive been in.

This movie theater is the bomb , a great place to take your kids , or hang out solo yolo this movie theater has really yummy popcorn and the seats are very cozy but if you are watching a really good movie or a movie you have wanted to see for a long time then just try not to fall asleep in the comfy seats i recommend you go here because it has great prices and has great screens with really good sound check out Cinemark Movies 14, 1701 Central Expy, McKinney, TX 75069 for the time of your life but you better be careful when you are in the McKinney movies because they will hit you with amazment

If I could give negative stars I would. This theater has been nothing but a pain in the ass. The place looks dirty, the staff is only ever just looking to get rid of you, incorrect showtimes posted on the website, and if you ever TRY to call for information, the line is ALWAYS busy, fairly certain theyre just leaving it off the hook. Personally, Im just going to go ahead and let this experience color my entire opinion of Cinemark theaters, myself,and my family are, as of now, boycotting the company.

Today i went to go see "if i stay" in theater 4.. i walk in and it smells like PEE! if someone had stood by the entrance and just let it out. It smelled HORRIBLE! They need to take care of it.. and if they do know about it they should have shut that theater room down till it got fixed. Other then the horrible smell i enjoyed the movie but leaving the theater knowing i had smell what i smelled coming in just gave me a bad feeling about going to them again.. hope they fix it.

It has a good price, but I rather pay extra not to travel as far as to Mckinney bc Im coming from the Richardson area. A few things I wish they would care more about for me to think its worth going. The mens restrooms! They are always dirty! My father is handicap and every time I go they have the cheapest toilet paper that doesnt clean very well at all! And no paper towels. Only the annoying blow dryers! They seem not care about cleanliness or presenting a nice environment.

I recently saw "Iron Man 3" on a Sunday afternoon. The sound was off balance, with the dialog track being lower in volume than the rest of the sound. The music seemed a lot louder than normal. I exited the theater to complain, but it didnt help. This isnt the first issue Ive had with this theater, but a lot of things just arent worth mentioning. Not this time. The joy of going to see a movie is partly in being able to hear every line along with a great soundtrack.

In this day and age when everything is getting more and more expensive this theater continues to hold its ticket prices down for admission. That being said, going to this theater works for us because we seldom buy any thing from the concision stands. Everything there is way over priced! You have to be crazy to buy popcorn or a drink at their price. If you ask for a cup of water they wont put a top on it. That is ridiculous.
