this theater only had 2 speakers for the audio it sounded like only on the right an left up in front by the screen the bass was up so loud an the treble so low i could not hear a single word of dialogue whenever the actors spoke i had not a clue what they where saying - the audio levels where all wrong - VERY POOR AUDIO SYSTEM I HAVE A BETTER AUDIO SYSTEM AT MY HOME AN I HAVE A VERY CHEAP SYSTEM AN THE AUDIO LEVELS WHERE ALL WRONG VERY POOR AUDIO MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAR THE WORDS OF WHAT THE ACTORS ARE SAYING - VERY LOUD BASS VERY LOW TREBLE AN ONLY 2 SPEAKERS AT THE FRONT BY THE SCREEN - THIS THEATER IS NOT SURROUND SOUND other than that its an ok theater but because of that i will either watch it at home or go to another theater - i will not spend 23 bucks for 2 people then 23 for popcorn an 2 sodas again at this theater also my other thing i noticed an is not the fault of the theater is we saw star wars 3d - it was great special fx but next time i think ill skip the 3d as it seemed to be more of a distraction to what was going on than a benefit the dark glasses an background blurry to make things pop out is not better than watching it without 3d - star wars had a 3d version an a regular version both playing at the theater we choose the 3d version - i wish we choose the regular version an i wont choose a 3d version again the 3d makes it pop better on certain things but you loose alotta detail i wanna say resolution is worse you have to wear these dark glasses an certain things are to dark if you take off the glasses everything is very blurry ( which i assume gives it the 3d effect ) - i asked my son without giving him my opinion what he said about the audio levels an he said word for word what i was thinking but he said he was able to understand what they where saying ( me i had no clue what was said the 75 percent of the movie because only 2 speakers an hi bass an low treble an bad audio levels ) i also asked him if he would of preferred a non 3d version an he said also what exactly i was thinking he agreed the audio levels where wrong an 3d just was a distraction from what was going on - some of the 3d effects where very cool but it was not worth missing detail for THE 3D THING IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE THEATER JUST MY PREFERENCE BUT THE AUDIO LEVELS ALL WRONG WITH ONLY 2 SPEAKERS IT SEEMS LIKE WAS TERRIBLE AN IS THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THIS THEATER - IF I HAD TO GIVE AN OPINION ON WHAT THEY NEED TO IMPROVE ON IS THEIR SOUND SYSTEM AN THEY NEED BETTER SEATS THE SEATS DO NOT RECLINE BUT I WOULD OF BEEN OK WITH THEIR UNCOMFORTABLE SEATS IF IT WAS NOT SO OVERPRICED JUST WAS A LITTLE UNCOMFORTABLE IN THE SEATS THEY HAD ALSO KNOWING OTHER THEATERS HAVE RECLINING SEATS FOR THE 46 DOLLARS YOU SPEND FOR 2 PEOPLE 1 LARGE POPCORN AN 2 LARGE SODAS AN 2 TICKETS EQUALS 46 BUCKS YOU SHOULD HAVE RECLINING SEATS AN A AUDIO SYSTEM WITH PROPER AUDIO LEVELS WITH SURROUND SOUND ( REALLY THEIR SOUND SYSTEM IS SO GARBAGE )

My bro. has been very depressed all year. I finally talked him into going to see a movie, to get out of his apt. While the previews were on he went outside to smoke. He had gotten a seat in the handicapped isle. He walks with a cane and carrys his smoking products, a coat, a book, and medications in his backpack. He was getting nervous as the previews went on & on. He got up and went out for one more cigarette. He left his backpack in his seat to step out for just a sec. When he came back it was gone. I get it if someone thought, hey that guy left a backpack in a seat in a theater. And someone grabbed it and threw it outside as far as they could. But when he came back & was obviously startled and looking for it, no one said a word. The management could not find it, so they say. With all the cameras, they cant see what happened to it???? Now how am I going to get him to go back?

This is now the only movie theater in Saint Joseph. With the closing of Plaza 8, and the Trail downtown likely not reopening, this theater should be expanded to twelve or fourteen screens, so that we can have more movie options locally. There is no reason why Hollywood/Regal Theaters cant do this. This theater should have originally been built with twelve or fourteen screens anyway (when it first opened in 2005). People seem to take it with a grain of salt though...they claim Saint Joe cant support a theater that big, but thats baloney. Otherwise, this is a nice theater. Ive always been pleased with my experiences here.

This doesnt feel like a first run theater. The seats are extremely worn and dirty, the floor and carpet is seriously in need of replacement and deep cleaning. I cant believe Regal hasnt renovated this property. Its a 20 minute drive to a cheaper show at AMC Barrywoods 24 or to this theater for me. The choice is clear, drive the extra miles if at all possible. Youd think as the only game in town theyd have a bit more pride in this property, and add services and hire more staff. If its a monetary loss to run it, then just close it down instead of looking shabby.

Projector quality is terrible in Auditorium 2. This is the main auditorium that is used for all movie premiers. The picture quality is a mess, just washy colors, and a hazy film that pretty much kills all of the contrast to where you can barely decipher what is going on during dark scenes. I have brought this up to the theater before, but nothing has been done. Save your money and go to AMC, the trip is worth it when it comes to the quality of the theater.

I have a problem with them never wanting to show movies like Fences with Denzel Washington have to drive 50 miles to see it. There has been other movies with black actors they wouldnt show saying there audience dont want to see these types of movies. I will never go back cause I am not one of the audience people the owner speaks of. A nice theater but I just hate there views on life

All seats in the theaters need to be replaced. They are very unappealing to sit in and when you look for a seat, you have to search for one that is clean or isnt threadbare. This is our nicest theater in town, lets keep it that way. I am hoping that the new company (Regal) that now owns it will make these replacements, so the community can enjoy the theater once again.

Screens slightly small, sometimes clean sometimes not. Generally needs some updating I guess. Its the only place in Saint Joe to see movies now; there used to be more options. Its both cheaper and generally bigger and nicer to drive 40 min south to the Barry road amc, but we dont always have the time/desire to go that far, so we often do the Hollywood 10.
