To whom it may concern, I was severely disappointed with my experience at LOOK tonight. It was my husbands birthday and he wanted to go see the Hunger Games. I looked into tickets in advance (knowing it was opening night) and purchased reserve seats at the lofts 10:15 showing. The tickets were a little bit more pricey than regular theaters, but I figured that with the amenities that were advertised (a full bar and food after 5 pm) it was worth the extra money. We arrived at 10 PM and promptly ordered two drinks and a popcorn, a bill that totaled $45. I was a little bit surprised at the premium prices but gladly signed my check, tipped the bartender, and stated that I would be back. He hesitated but did not respond to this statement which I thought strange, but understood later. Our movie did not get started until 10:30 which I suppose is typical with most movies for delay in the start time. An hour and a half later my husband got up to go get us additional beverages (despite the inflated costs) And returned empty-handed. He told me that the bartender had informed him that they closed 30 min after the start of the movie. 15 minutes later I felt the need to use the restroom and was very thirsty from my $15 popcorn. Since the bar was closed, I went downstairs to get a nonalcoholic beverage and was yet again surprised to find that all concessions were closed and that I couldnt even get a beverage at all. I thought that maybe I had missed an advisory of the opening and closing hours, but when I looked back on your website, where I purchased the tickets, i found that there was no such advisory given. Had I known that the amenities I was paying double ticket price for were going to be unavailable 15 minutes after I arrived, I would have never booked the tickets or paid the amount of money I did for them or the refreshments that we did purchase. I was also very angered at the fact that the bartender, upon me saying that I would be returning, didnt inform me of the closing time of the bar, in addition to the fact that the concessions of the general admission area were also closed to where I couldnt even purchase a water with approximately an hour of our movie remaining. I feel i was subjected to blatant false advertising and am very perturbed at the fact that I paid for premium prices for services that were not only unavailable but also not made clear by staff members when the opportunity to do so was presented.

On Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 3:30 p.m., my mother took my daughter, three-years old, to see The Jungle Book. After purchasing two tickets at $14 a piece ($14 for a 3-year old) and spending an additional $29.50 at the concession stand, the ticket hostess was kind enough to escort them to the theater and hold the door open for them. Within a few minutes it occurred to my mother that they were not in the appropriate theater, despite being personally escorted by a cinema employee. Instead, they were well into Miles Ahead, an R-rated film for frightening and intense scenes, sexuality, nudity, some violence and drug use. Yes, the ideal film for a theater employee to escort a grandmother and her granddaughter to see. By the time they were able to exit the theater my three-year old daughter witnessed graphic nudity, a simulated sex scene, and profane language. They exited the theater and informed another ticket hostess about the mix up. This hostess apologized profusely, directed them toward the appropriate theater, and assured my mother she would be given ticket vouchers for their next visit (we visit Look often). However, by the time the film concluded no one came with the vouchers and it was time to go. After learning of the inexcusable incident from my mother I instructed her to call the manager and explain the circumstances so that another child would not be exposed to on-screen simulated sex acts and profanity. However, when she reached a manager, Mr. Rodriguez, he attempted to tell her that she must be confused and that couldnt have happened the way she described (I was listening on speaker phone before they were "disconnected"). I immediately called the theater and simply asked in what theater and at what time was Miles Ahead playing (so that I could ensure the accuracy of my mothers story). I was told by the ticket counter that Id have to speak to a manager and that she was unable to help me. At this point I hung up the phone. It is beneath Look Cunemas to employee managers and employees who behave this way toward their customers. A child viewed inappropriate sex acts and heard profanities in a theater while they were their to see a childrens film. I would never, in a million years, write a review such as this if we werent treated with such disrespect, disbelief, and humiliation. Mr. Rodriguez, if thats your name, you should think twice before speaking to a grandmother the way I heard you speak to one today.

Favorite theater, hands down. I dont really go anywhere else unless theres no choice. Love the seats, love picking my own seats, love the self-serve drink machines that serve a billion different combos. Diet Barqs with vanilla? Sure! Coke zero with cherry lime? Great! The reclining seats are the big selling point for me. Got the sliders one time, they were good for theater food. I cant speak to the other food, as I havent had it. The popcorn is noticeably better than other theaters Ive been to. My one disappointment is the lack of Hot Tamales in the candy concessions. The concessions arent hidden behind the ticket counters, so you can split the party - one gets tickets and the other gets concessions - if youre in a rush. Whining aside, the negative reviewers have some good points. Yes, concessions cost lots of money, just like in every other theater. Thats how they make money, as they usually only break even on ticket prices. Dinner theaters are notoriously expensive, so if youre planning on doing that, be prepared for it to cost a lot. Its freaking COLD in the theaters, so bring a hoodie or light jacket if you are prone to getting chilled. In the middle of the summer, its kind of nice, but yeah, seriously. The downstairs theaters feel like they are in the 60F range. If youre not interested in the dinner aspects, and if you time it right, you can go watch a movie at a reasonable price in a very very nice theater in a cushy seat. If you add the concessions, it about doubles the price (for 2 people), but at least its decent popcorn and a crazy good selection of beverages, so you wont grumble too much about it, and it helps to pay the employees and keep their lights on. Also, you can buy a beer at the bar there and take it into the movie, if you like that kind of thing.

This theater is probably the best Ive been to thus far. They have something for everyone! The LOOK and Dine - Best of the best here. Nice leather chairs that recline (automatically... just touch the button). The table is connected to the chair and swings in front of you, so when youre done with your food, swing the table back, recline and enjoy the show! Also, the lights for servers are a light green so they arent nearly as disrupting as the bright red. Super attentive service The Lofts - its a modern vibe. Comfy lounge areas, full bar, nice leather seats with drink holders. Good chill area with couches, sports on tv, and just a great place to hang out. The Cinema - [this is the one I went to] Its your basic theater... but still with leather seats, fold-up drink holders (for more cuddle time), and spacious. Evolution (best for 3-D) - The screens are literally the biggest Ive seen. Wall to wall, floor to floor. Comfy seating once again and slight choices in food options... not a bad deal here either. All of these theaters have their own prices, and you can definitely create a super customized date night. We went to Nick and Sams Grill (see that review), then went to the basic Cinema. It was a great night! The service from the LOOK employees was impeccable, the environment was great, and one attendant let me browse all the theaters to get a good feel for what each one was like. Ill definitely be returning for more experiences. The food was great, the experience was awesome, and cant wait for the surrounding areas to grow and have more to do while youre waiting for the movie to start!
