Worst movie experience of my adult life. Not only was the theater I was in not properly policed, the manager on duty called me and my group of friends liars and offered us a repeat of the same horrible treatment with free passes. The entire time the movie was playing there were multiple groups of people talking loudly. There was also someone shining the flashlight from their cellphone around the theater. A group of people stood up in the middle of the movie and walked across the middle of the theater talking and carrying on. When we exited the theater after the end of the movie, we immediately went to the manager to complain. He not only did not care that we had a bad experience, he called us liars because no one else complained to him. He said if we had an issue that we should have said something during the movie. So we need to leave during the movie that we paid 10 dollars plus concessions to see, to tell the manager that he needs to do his job better? Hmmm. All he could offer us was free passes that we turned down because we are NEVER coming back to this theater again. Save your money and just go to an AMC, at least they walk the theater multiple times instead of just coming in for the first 5 minutes and then never checking back again.

I have visited this establishment several times and have noticed that management tends to target and filter out young people of color on certain nights through the week. While I am not one to always yell “discrimination”, I find that management’s tactics, at this particular location are deplorable. When I approached them about what my family and others had experienced I was told to leave by management and threatened by the police and told that I would be arrested if I said another word. When I asked why are you taking these kids money, only to throw them out 30 minutes later, without a refund, and send them to the parking lot to be harassed again by the local police force, they informed me that I was out of line with my accusations and would be handcuffed if me and my family did not leave. Last, when I spoke of my concern for the safety of young blacks being funneled outside over minor infractions (and there was a very large group), they then told me that there were plenty of other movie theaters in the city and that maybe we should go there instead. From there I knew exactly what I was dealing with and that would be the last time any of my family members would spend money in that Pickerington Marcus Cinema.

One of the worst theaters Ive been to. Was treated very poorly as if I were a child. Not sure if this is because of the heavy traffic of youth that patrons this place and that I looked young enough to be dismissive or whether because Im a woman, but the manager at the time, Alan, was completely rude beyond remedy. He surveyed the room then started yelling and screaming in the direction of me and other viewers to which none of us knew what was going on, until he pointed at me to turn off my phone. It was on silent, clipped to my pants pocket but the screen was lighting up from a call I was completely unaware of. I picked it up to power it off while he continued yelling and other viewers began yelling back at him in disgust of his behavior. This caused him to tell me and other viewers to "get out". I couldnt believe it. I asked for a refund as the movie had just started and he refused. So I called their corporate office and was sent 8 free tickets. However, I have not patronized this place any longer. Neither have my family and they were regulars. Were more than happy to travel to Gahanna to be treated with civility.

1/31/2017 445PM Triple Movie: I enjoy going to this theater. Their rewards program comes with no annual fees. Every Tuesday is $5 movies all day and they have discounts on popcorn and snacks. They have added a full bar, real food menu, and soon will be 100% of the new leather lounge chairs. I enjoy the updates to keep this place current and desirable. Nothing worth than dated facilities. Old stuff comes off as overused, worn out and super dirty. I just wish the customers would respect this theater more. People that come here are super dirty and messy. They clearly were raised by wild animals and have entitlement issues because there is no excuse to leave to trash behind. Its like they should install flaps underneath each step that is hooked up to a big vacuum system so such up all of the trash. Im going to start calling people out. "Put Some RespeK on my favorite movie theater." A Birdman reference if you didnt get that last joke. I will continue to go here! Love and appreciate all the updates and changes!

Great theater with a nice bar and good overall aesthetic. However, unreasonable pricing (no student discounts on the weekend), a rewards program with little incentive (points expire after a certain length of time, and you have to spend $100 to get a $5 gift card that will also expire, whereas their previous program from a few years ago at least gave you free concessions after 5 and 10 movies, not based on how much you spent), and uncompromising, yet arbitrary rules. For instance, their is a certain discount that is supposed to be in effect for movies before 5:30pm, but the theater would not honor this discount for a movie starting AT 5:30pm, and claimed that it had to start at 5:29pm or before. Some of the projectors are also outdated or at least need to have the contrast and brightness adjusted, as the image was incredibly dim on the screen. Still a good theater, but has a lot it should improve before charging premium prices.

I had a bad experience. I went to see the Star Wars Movie and close to the end of the movie, I felt my phone vibrate. I wanted to check my phone to see what the message was and it was my husband letting me know that he cooked dinner and that he was going to work. This is also a way of my husband also checking to make sure I made it to my car ok. The staff member said " YOU CAN WAIT 5 MINUTES TO MAKE A CALL, TURN YOUR PHONE OFF. I wasnt even calling anyone, I was checking my text message. He could have said it in a better way. Then, I spoke with his manager and he stated that the staff member had a long day and that he had been working since 8am. The manager was rude as well because he cut me off in the middle of me speaking and was just trying to rush me out the door. I told the manager that I visit Marcus Cinema all the time but he doesnt seem to care. Well, I will visit AMC theater going forward.

I will not return again. I used to enjoy going there on our weekly family date nights with our disabled 6y/o . I am a disabled veteran, my fiance is disabled with huningtons disease, and my daughter has CP. They used to allow us in for $15 ($7.50/adult @ military discount) and my daughter was free. During my last visit, they now wanted to charge me $27.50 ($7.50 for me $10 for each of them) . I was told policies had changed, only veterans with id card could receive any discount. After contacting corporate, they only send me a copy of their policies as a reply. I dont go around asking for handouts, but a fair value was nice. How can you charge $10 for a 6 y/o child with CP who doesnt really watch or understand the movie anyway? (WHY do I take her with me? Because I dont trust baby sitters with her life ,with her conditions!) I hope they will reevaluate their POLICIES.
