Normally the service is pretty good but last night was not good. The first person we dealt with was nice. We left since we had about three hours left before the movie actually started and came back only to realize that one of our tickets had gotten lodged in one of the compartments in my friends car. This meant having to buy a new ticket which is fine since it was only 50 cents. I went ahead and this time tickets had to be sold at one of the concession stand booths or spots. I told the guy and showed him the rewards card (not the same one from earlier). He went rang me up and finished the transaction so I asked him if he had put in the number to my card because he certainly didnt look at it for too long nor did he input my phone number to which he replied "all that stuff confuses me and I dont know how that works so I cant do anything and my manager is super busy so I cant bother so you should understand that you cant get whatever you want." I didnt know how to respond to that so I told him that I would wait. Guess what? The manager was next to him the whole time. I overheard him telling her something about me and she replied with "what do you need?" and I repeated what happened and she told him to ring up the next person and then turned to me to say "well do you have a receipt and I guess not and he cant print it cause he just rang someone else up. You shoulda spoken sooner." I was not pleased with this especially since she then said "cant do nothing, whoops." Is that the way managers and employees can treat customers now? If it hadnt been for my younger sister wanting to watch the movie we saw, I would have asked for a refund and pointed out all that I saw wrong. I had to bite my tongue as to not ruin my sisters evening and that of my friends. Im giving it two stars because their other employees have always been nice and even their other managers, its the woman whos either hispanic or mixed and was working on January 5, 2016 at the cinema at around 9:40 p.m. who was not being good at customer service and her employee. By the way, AMC bought the theatre so theres that too.

Old theater, there are no self serve kiosks so you have to wait in the food line to print your tickets, the food was awful, ordered a flatbread pizza and when i got it the inside was still cold, my husband ordered a hot dog and it tasted like it had sat out overnight. After receiving our tickets the lady told us auditourium 4, we went and it was showing a complete different movie, checked my ticket stubs which did nt indicate which theater to go to, i ended up having to check my email confirmation to see what auditourim our actual movie was in. Upon walking into the CORRECT theather we were hit with a foul, moldy mildew scent, the theather smelled like it had been rained in and had been left to "air dry". The seats were uncofortable and outdated, broken, would not even sit straight and my sons chair was constantly slanting backwards. Very dissapointing movie experience. Would nt reccomend this theater. Only upside is the tickets and food are cheap, but nt worth getting sick over. Yuck.

I have been a visitor of this AMC Starplex for over 15 years now. The price is the best! The theater it self at some point will need a make over or at least new seating and new flooring. I rated this 3 stars because of the mild theater grossness thin walls. I cant see this happening to soon but one can hope and pray. Maybe the community could start a fund raiser to clean repair and fix up this theater and the pricing could stay close to the same pricing. The churros had a little funky after taste and a bit dry. The pretzel was nothing to write to grandma about either and it was shaped like a emoji face and it wasnt fresh. The popcorn was okay but please try to serve your customers very warm if not hot popcorn. when possible. We are Stubs member so we did get a full large extra bucket of popcorn. I will continue to be a patron of this AMC Starplex. Thanks for serving your community.

I gave them a five star, because when you go with a family of four or more its a great bargain, with cost of living being a problem for some. The smell could be prevented with a good cleaning after hours in theater s an restrooms then install strong air fresheners., the bathrooms are decent they have wall blowers to dry your hands verses paper being all over the floor when paper towels are supplied , which is more cost efficient an sanitary. I thank you Starplex and its new owners for providing the Ultimate Price movie experience ever, 3 thumbs up to the movie choice s also, try this theater if you havent already, grab a group the young people love it. Starplex think about adding a 80s movie night where people will dress that way an also the 50s movie night for the Seniors maybe even 70s night and the Holidays could be a week of Christmas movies Halloween etc. thanks again Starplex.

They just converted from a dollar movie theater this week, July 20th to be specific. Most regular movies are $5 before 6pm, and $8 after 6 pm. I like that they are trying to bring back affordable movies in the evenings. At this point they have not made the changes necessary in the theater that will help them be successful. To convert from a dollar movie theater to a semi full price theater the place needs to be cleaned deeply and odors neutralized. The upholstery needs to be either cleaned or replaced. To be fair, AMC has only owned this movie theater for 3 to 4 months if I remember correctly, so Im sure they have many more changes to come. I have seen some changes over the last few months for the better, however I wouldve imagined many more would have been done before they converted back to a regular theater.

DISGUSTING. I just wanted to see a movie, and yes, this was cheap, but the reason it is so cheap is because in order to watch said movie, you have to sit in 20 year old coke stickiness. My shoes stuck to the carpet in the lobby as I walked. In fact, there could not have been one surface not coated in a thin film of sticky residue. When we decided to go to this theatre I had no idea it was a "value cinema." If you have to sink this low in order to save a few dollars on a movie, I sincerely pity you. The fact that management feels like maintaining basic sanitary conditions can be foregone for the sake of a cheaper ticket price is disgusting. Shame on them. Im off to take a much needed shower.
