I saw that new Star Wars movie there with my dad. Id already seen it once and wanted to see something else, but he was from out of town and hadnt seen it so we went to that one. Now that I think about it, the one i wanted to see might have been that movie "the witch" that came out a few months ago. Anyone remember that one? Man, I went to that movie with my wifey the next weekend and it sucked so bad. I remember because I fell asleep during the movie. Ive never done that so far as I recall - fall asleep in a theater. Waste of money on tickets. I think that movie might be on Netflix now but I digress.... Anyway, the theater is nice but its just kind of small.

The location was good for us, which almost excused the small theatres and awkward seating. However, I had a bad experience a couple years ago with the manager, in which she accused me of trying to sneak into another movie when I was searching for a payphone. She had trouble believing there was a teenager without a cell phone and asked me to produce my ticket, then claiming I wasnt old enough to see the film I purchased the ticket to, even though I went in with my parents at the time. She didnt even ask to see my ID either, she just assumed I was too young. Anyways, Ive avoided this Theatre since and find it much easier to just travel to AMC.

Friendly staff and always fresh popcorn. Very reasonable priced tickets and excellent location. Being on 152 makes it easily assessable from all directions of the Northland. The most affordable movie experience in the KC Metro. Ticket prices are reasonable and the Back Stage Pass membership is great. Ive got several free movie tickets along with free or upgrades on concessions. The "Backstage Pass" after every 100 points will you get $5.00 off tickets/refreshments. I have upgraded from a medium popcorn to a large free refills for a $1.50. My theater of choice!

The seats need to be cleaned and some need to be fixed. They have 14 auditoriums, but only show 6-8 movies at a time and only the big, newest blockbusters (not much variety). The picture is almost always a little out of focus and in some auditoriums, the screen is too dim (lamp needs to be changed). I saw Wonder Woman last week, and right when the credits started, they turned on the overhead lights and started cleaning noisily. When asked about it, they said its because there werent any post credit scenes. I paid kind of a lot to see the whole movie...

Unless you go Saturday or Friday night, dont expect to get a hot dog or nachos at this place they dont keep them ready. That always seems to be the story. I live within 1000 feet of this place and the only reason I come here is if AMC Barrywoods isnt playing what I want to watch when I want to watch it. I understand that they are trying to save from wasting money on food not ordered, but I figure thats why I pay $5 for a hotdog. If you can go somewhere else, do so. This place severely needs an overhaul of the management and culture.

I bought tickets in advance and then tried to cancel and ask for a refund on the basis of its snowy and icy. There is literally no way to speak to a person on the phone number listed - it even gives an extension to use but no place to enter it - and the website lists that refunds can only be processed in person. The whole reason I am seeking a refund is because its unsafe to be out and about! I understand that the weather is an uncontrollable variable but it would be nice if I didnt have to lose money on account of that variable.

We moved here almost a year ago and found this gem off of Google maps. Excelsior Springs does not have a theater that we know of and this one is close for us! Great theater, snacks arent cheap but most theaters arent. They even have cotton candy! Overall great experience and great movies! They have lots of screens and you can upgrade to 3d on some for just a few dollars more :) we will continue going there for our movies unless one is showing one that we want to see that is no longer playing there

Fairly new theater. Ample seating and cleaness of the theater. Ample restrooms on both sides of theaters viewing areas. Suggest to get a back stage pass to get tickets and refreshments points, that give you points that you can apply to either future movies or refreshments, which in my opinion very high, so saving money is always a plus. I still go to the dollar store, and get candies there to bring to the movies. A dollar for the same item, verse 3.95 is a no brainer for me.

This theater has taken on a much more positive and customer-responsive character since becoming B and B. It is always clean; the staff is professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The selection of movies is excellent, and the backstage pass offers some nice plusses. Their AM and afternoon pricing make it possible for me to see more movies. I did not previously think of myself as a movie-goer, but since B & B arrived here, I do.

It gets a steady business but isnt as crowded as other theaters. I enjoy the screening rooms with balconies. The only annoying thing are the history lesson commercials for the people who own the theater they show before every movie. And the weird mantra employees have to repeat after every interaction with you: "Enjoy the magic of the movies." Its Stepford-ian.

Great place to watch a movie. Food and drink are very expensive. This place does Not have sweet tea. Add packet suger to a 4 dollar tea and hope its mixed in by the time your movie is over. Cost at least 60 dollars for 3 tickets and snacks everytime i go. I give a 2 star because the movie is only half the experience.

Never have we been "profiled" for our friends appearance. Maybe due to behaviors the others were removed as stated in a previos post. Just bcs someone is white and asks you to leave doesnt automatically make it a racist thing; maybe your unacceptable behavior was involved and reported by several other movie goers.

Nice place, very clean with quick service. Only two small issues. The snack line is a little confusing and they have three sized bags of popcorn. You can upgrade to a plastic bucket for $1.50. Not sure what that gets me, but a large bag is $7.95. I just find bags harder to share with others versus a bucket.

Before B & B, I thought thetheatre was better. I know Everyone charges about the same but its getting to high to go to themovies. Concession prices are ridiculous and even when toy day light ice, they fill it up. Come on, we know pop is a huge markup but at least give us more than one cups worth!

This place is nasty. Were in theatre 1 and the seats and floor are filthy. It smells like homeless people live in here. It smells like urine. Wont be back here. My wife cut herself on something on the door and the manager wouldnt give het a bandage.

This is a decent sized movie theater, I cant recall a time that I had to go to a bigger theater to see a movie. Its close to where I live, easy to get in and out of, rarely full, clean, and does what you would expect from a theater.
