so here is my helpful "opinion" reguarding this theater. I have been a long standing patron with my family for as long as this movie theater was built and brought into town.... When it was under the old business (before it was bought out by AMC). the theater prices were nice, staff was great, most all of the restroom stalls and seats were clean. Sure the arcade was a little outdated but it was great. I absolutly LOVED the childrens summer movie program they offered, as I could take my family and get movie "deals" for the kids and they liked going to the movies during the summer. now just this past year.... it was bought out by AMC and I have a few words with which to desribe the differences since the change over. The staff has still been helpful and kind (same staff it seems so am thankful for that), sadly cleanliness is lacking. chairs and floors stay (sticky). bathrooms stay messy, prices in movies have increased. they dont offer the summer movie program for kids anymore. what few games in the game room are left very few work. my kids were rather disappointed. please Coorporate think about dropping prices a bit and also bringing back the kids summer program. (the only 2 things that stayed the same with the switch was the great staff, and the always fresh popcorn. (never had a stale bucket ever))

I have never been to a theater that had food spattered on the screen. When brought up to management, it was just smoothed over with a "we plan to clean that", it had obviously been there a while. Amazing. Otherwise the Air Conditioning works and the popcorn wasnt stale. - Fast forward 6 years now. They have cleaned up the food splattered on the screen. Been going here steady for six years. AMC just purchased them and now they decided you dont get refills on popcorn....you still pay $16 for popcorn and pop, dont get me wrong. You can refill the pop, but not the popcorn. What the hell are we paying all that money for then at the concession stand??? Was a one star now I will give it two only because the cleaned the screen.

So I was browsing through all of the reviews and no one mentioned that sometimes right before the movie starts the screen freezes or messes up right before the movie starts and just stays there. I have been going to this movie theater since I was very young 6 or 7, this has only recently started happening. Most of the time , this doesnt happen but when it does it is quite annoying. I definitly think the whole Theater needs a redoing. Bigger screens, nicer seats, a whole update. This would probobly cause the prices to rise. It is a good theater that has carried many movies. A lot of memories I have had here since when I was younger I thought this was the only theater in town. Which it sort of is the only one in Owasso

Staff is often friendly and I love the selection of snacks. It definitely seems like they could do a better job keeping all of the School kids quiet on the weekends, I think theyre replacing some of the seats but I have had bad experiences with some of them being broken and jagged, it was only after I heard my son say ouch that I realized one of the chair arms was broken with exposed jagged metal roughly 8 inches long. The customer service is great but I just feel like this theater could use some upkeep, to be honest this theater really seems out of place in such a nice community seeing how the theater itself is so poorly maintained.

Some of the speakers buzz. Customer service is Terrible. Theater is filthy. Bathrooms are filthy and stall doors are broken. The theaters are gross. Some seats are broken. Stuff splattered on the screens. Overcrowded on Fridays and Saturdays. Possible fire hazards. Overpriced concessions. Drink refills are not free. Arcade games suck or are broken. Public areas are messy. Parking lot is too small. No one will ever answer the phone when you call. The automated system for movie times never works. Has changed owners 3 times in one year. Owasao needs a second theater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been to Owasso 12 a few times and we enjoy the experience. the seating in comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and kept up, the movie house itself is very nice and always clean. the snacks are wonderful and drinks too. The staff, each person is wonderful. The prices are reasonable for everything. I am glad they changed the prices on the popcorn and drinks, its expensive but costs less than last December. Thankful to come to a very nice place and relax and watch movies with good reasonable ticket prices and not far from home.

Most of the games stole my toddlers money, ruining their day and they say they cant do anything about it cause they are not their games. Management should find another vender that can take better care of their machines. Lots of trash and on the ground and seats. All the workers were at the counter with no customers coming in. They could have cleaned up a little before more customers came in. The movie was way too loud when it started but they did turn it down right away, and they were pretty friendly.

Still wouldnt give a one star. Theater is disgusting, some workers are very rude, seats are uncomfortable not at all clean. Went to go see baby driver today and was denied. My dad had dropped me and another guest off at the theater, to be said we have been waiting all day to see this and we were so excited to go to it, I do not recommend going to the owasso movies. I would gladly spend 4 more dollars to go to the Tulsa AMC movies with great service and amazing chairs.

Good prices, and Michael the ticket taker is always helpful. Management seems to have their heads screwed on tight. Only have 3 complaints no reserved seating, no reclining chairs, but this last one I think they fixed. For a while me and my wife would get upset stomachs after visiting here. We think it was ether the ice machine or the butter for the popcorn. THIS HAS BEEN FIXED. Have visited twice now and no upset tummys.

Please renovate. I used to like coming here, but now only do it when Claremore isnt showing what I want to see. My movie was in theatre 10 and I was a bit appalled. It smelled awful, the seats looked dirty and like theyre about to fall apart (holes and black stains on the edges), and there was food and trash every where. Bathroom stalls had water all over the floor. I dont know what happened, but this theatre has went downhill.

Understandably, the past few months this theater has been transitioning under new ownership since AMC bought Starplex Cinemas. To me, its been a very smooth transition, you now can use your AMC stubs rewards card (which is awesome). I definitely see this theater going forward, where you will have assign seats, like other AMC theaters. And I am hoping that they will remodel and possibly put an IMAX at this theater.

The theater has changed since taken over by AMC. Butter your own popcorn and get your own drinks. That means stand in line 4 times!!!! (for tickets, for popcorn, for butter, for soda) Unfortunately, there are only 2 drink machines and the lines are looooonnnggg. Today, only one drink machine was working. Better get to the theater at least 45 minutes early if you want a soda with your movie.
