I have 10+ year as a gymnastics coach. I put my daughter (a beginner 12 yr old) at this gym doing TUMBLING WITH COACH CHRIS ...upon moving here and seeing that it had 4.6 stars. After being here 2 months it was clear that i was WASTING my money. Not only is this gym the biggest gymnastics gym in this area, its also the MOST EXPENSIVE, which i wouldnt mind if the students received worthy training. My daughter did two classes a week. I witnessed for two months trainees come in, with No Experience and be handed a class to coach ON THEIR OWN after 3 weeks. A beginner coach took over my daughters class after 3 weeks training and dropped MULTIPLE girls during class from LACK OF TRAINING ON HOW TO PROPERLY SPOT. My daughters original coach only had 2 years of experience coaching and I DID talk to him about things I was seeing such as: *lack of teaching basics needed to build foundation *not paying attention when girls did wrong posture *and lack of training for coaches. I asked about the owner (who does NOT go to the gym). It is ran by two main managers. I did speak with one manager while i was withdrawing my daughter and SHE was very kind and understanding and asked my opinion on how to better the situations i was seeing. I APPRECIATED THAT. However, when she brought my daughters coach chris to the front to talk about my withdrawing my daughter and the reasons why, as soon as i started speaking he walked away with crossed arms, never spoke to me or made eye contact, which i believed to be disrespectful considering I have more experience in his job then he did, I wouldve expected he wouldve taken this as a learning opportunity. In my opinion, I just feel this gym is NOT training their coaches ENOUGH. They hire too many young kids that dont take this job seriously. And they dont hold them responsible to it either. These beginner level girls will NEVER progress if they dont receive a SOLID foundation of training from the beginning. I think they make money because most parents TRUST that they are taking their jobs seriously and I think I lucked out because I not only stayed and watched every class but I have the knowledge of HOW IT SHOULD BE RAN. I never saw a rude coach. I was never treated poorly and neither was my daughter other than the dropping by the trainee coach. But in my opinion, if you want your child to TRULY GAIN SKILL, then do NOT BRING THEM HERE.

Hands down the best gym for a competitive gymnast in El Paso. My daughter is a Level 9 competitive USAG gymnast. Because my husband is in the military, she has trained at four different gyms - one in Oklahoma, one in New Jersey, and for Levels 4 - 8 in New York (we moved mid-season of Level 8). This past winter/spring we finished out Level 8 season and are doing the Level 9 season here at Gymnastics Elite - East. I can tell you, hands down, that this is an amazing gym that teaches the right things to athletes. They focus on both character and athletic development along with all of the wonderful intangible life lessons that being an athlete teaches a child about hard work, team work, commitment and dedication. At her last gym, in New York, her coaches were former Romanian Olympians who trained under the Karolyis in Romania. There were Elite gymansts who were on the National and World teams at her gym, competing internationally on the Jr. National and Sr. National teams. These coaches at this gym with the competitive team are just as attentive, talented, and committed to the happiness & success of these athletes as our gym in New York. We would absolutely 100% recommend this gym to any gymnasts who are considering going on the competitive track. Because my daughter trains here so many hours per week, we also get to see the recreational classes - which are doing all of the basics and drills that my daughter did as an itty-bitty gymnast when she first started out. Kudos to a great gym with caring coaches from a mom who has been to the best gym everywhere weve moved.

We enrolled our granddaughter last fall for the winter recital in December, 2016 and a day before her recital they told my daughter the dance leotard had not come in and they had no back up plan. So my daughter called and drove all over town to locate a pink leotard so her daughter could participate not one time did Elite assist my daughter on locating one and she was not the only one. The other parents were so upset they did not let their daughters participate. So the owner/manager apologized to our granddaughter said they would make sure everything the next recital would be the best. Well here we are months after practicing for her recital which was suppose to be this coming weekend, my daughter found out last week they have decided to move it to June 11th. We were given two excuses 1) not all the parents have paid their fee 2) we did not realize it was Memorial weekend. Really do you not have a calendar!!!! So they again have broken a promise to our granddaughter. She will not be able to participate she will be out of town on vacation, after all the session was suppose to end this week. I would not recommend them unless you want your daughter/granddaughter disappointed.

Sad but true I had an awful experience with this gym, at first it was all ok and the staff seemed to be on point. After a while things started changing I noticed only one instructor for my daughters course and it was not enough. Then they got more coaches and surely they raised their prices. Another thing is that they do not even allow for month to month clients to switch their childrens classes from one day to another, they argued that that service if only for the "VIP" clients. I do not know about you but I work and I am a full time student so there are times when my schedule changes, which they do not understand. At last, the only other bad experience I have had with them is that they are quick and on point to charge for their service, and now that I disenrolled my daughter from this Gym, they seem to not want to pay me back my deposit. I do not blame the staff as they follow the owners orders, but be careful, they are always giving me the "run-around" sort of speak.

Both of my daughters love it they have been attending gym here for almost 3 years now and one is now on the competition team and the other is trying out from the team next season. We are here over 4 days a week and the staff and coaches are amazing. They really care about the kids. From teaching them everything they want to learn, helping them with their goals and still keeping them safe at the same time. The KNO are so much fun for the kids, they are able to play and cut loose and most of all mom gets a break too. We love his gym and wouldnt consider going anywhere else. We are sad to see that Coach Elijah and Kelly will be leaving for school soon, but glad they are able to train the incoming coaches to be as good as they are. The team Coaches Becky, Jessie, and Frennie are wonderful; they keep the girls motivated and push them at just the right time. Our team has already brought home 2 trophys this season and we are only 2 meets in. WTG Team Sparks!
