The day I went was extremely crowded and disorganized. Apparently there were 2 new guys on the same day. The "lesson" was not even a lesson, it was simply 10 second tips every time before you went, "arms out, heels down" was repeated every time and no real help. The same "lesson" and tips was given to everyone in line, even those without a purple band. They also never told you what you did wrong. The The first 2 times around the instructor didnt even bother to help. He just walked away as I was stepping up, I had to literally call out to him for him to come, that inexcusable. I couldnt even get the knee board down until another wake boarder told me I had to lean forward and bend my arms! I went twice and leaned back with arms out and never got help, even thought I asked, it was not clear at all. After one small suggestion from another wake boarder I mastered the knee board. How do they expect people to get the wake board if they cant even get proper instruction for a knee board!! Only good thing was the girl at the front. She gave me credit back to come again, but after such a bad experience Im hesitant.

I had a total blast! I purchased the $90 1 hour cable lesson since it was my first time wake boarding. Very happy with this package since you jump right to the front of the line each time. Believe it or not, jumping to the front of the line wasnt even the best part. The best part was my coach, Chad. I am athletic and Ive water skied before but there was absolutely no way I could have made it around the course without Chads coaching and encouragement. I had been looking forward to this place for months and it did not disappoint. All around high quality, well run facility and wake boarding is a great thrill. I cant wait to go back again next year. (PS dont plan to do anything that requires the use of your arms the next day since they will be spaghetti.)

My student organization at the University of Florida planned a surprise trip for our staff to the Orlando Watersports Complex and we all LOVED it! The staff was incredibly nice from the office to the cables. Our group was slighty smaller than the requirement for group rates, but they still gave us that rate plus an extra hour of cable time! The guys working the cables were very helpful and taught us everything we needed to know as beginnings. We definitely plan on returning and suggest it to anyone looking for a fun time in the Orlando area!

Knights Wake

Orlando Water Sports Complex is one of the best cable parks in the world. You get world class service from the staff who all have great experience and are very friendly. The layout of the area is awesome with great places to watch the action and catch a tan from their huge outdoor patio. Then the cables themselves are state of the art with two different ones, the Standard cable for learning and the Advance cable with some of the best obstacles you will ever hit. Definitely worth the price to check out this place!

What a great place to hang out with your family. This sport is great for beginners and for those who are more extreme. A nice air conditioned pro shop, healthy snack bar and lots of shade to watch the action. The employees are very happy and helpful. If you have never done it before they will go out of their way to ensure your success. I think they may even have a "get up guarantee". You must try this up and coming sport that is exploding across the United States.

Called to make reservation because online was crashing. Tim hung up on me twice because I guess he didnt feel like taking a reservation. I left a message for a manager to call back and he tell me he knows 100% Tim didnt hang up on me??? Really? Were you there? Or are you Tim? Or Im just a client that has time to call around and accuse businesses of hanging up on clients. Great concept HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!!!! Ill take my money and go else where. No thanks.

This place is absolutely amazing. Our family came here as beginners trying out wake boarding for the first time. With the guidance from our instructor, we were all able to get up and ride the course. For small kids, knee boarding will ensure your kids will have an easy and pleasant experience. Having experience in snowboarding makes learning quite easy. They have an upgrade board for those who want to hit jumps and mess around in the water.

My friend and I had the best day! Looking for activities in Orlando without buying expensive amusement park tickets is so difficult, but luckily we found this business on Groupon. We spent $40 on a private lesson and a 4-hour pass, which seemed a little expensive at first, but it was totally worth it! They dont make you feel stupid if youre a beginner, and we actually improved a lot! I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I started my first time doing any water sports here at OWC back in March. The sport is amazing. Been to an event here too which was put together very well. The staff is super nice and really help you and know how to joke and have fun but keep up with their job too! Im addicted to this place (One day Ill get good at the advanced side) and love the progress Im seeing on my wakeskate although Im a slow learner.

It is of utmost importance for every child to find a passion in life. Without a passion, they are more susceptible to drugs and negative influences out of boredom. For that reason we try everything with our kids. OWC made the trial of wake boarding enjoyable and reasonably priced! For $59 my 9 year old got a 1 hour lesson with an instructor PLUS 2 hours to practice. Excellent!

What a great experience for my 12 year old boy! Tim was great training him and he was up on the wake board on his 3rd try!! We will be back for sure. I love that you have food and drinks for purchase available as well. I just wish I would have signed up and taken lessons as well! I expected to see mostly kids, but there were all ages!!

My sister and i had the best day of our vacation. All the staff members were super fun and new their stuff. Nathan challenged us to new tricks which made the whole experience that much better. Highly recommend the "gas station chicken" that he told us about!! Thank you so much guys!!

Totally worth it. All of the staff I interacted with were great, and the lesson was excellent. I had a little previous riding experience from kiteboarding so I rode from the start, but I watched some other beginners and it looks like these guys are pretty good at teaching.
