Visited this cute Miniature golf course on Thanksgiving. I was surprised they were even open, let alone to have one of the best customer service experience EVER! I have been in this industry for over 10 years and the owners of this facility are the exact reason I always try to support local businesses. When we arrived they were dead- 2 people on the course. They let us play "for free" and said Happy Thanksgiving. At the end of the course when you return the ball you receive a ticket- my ticket said FREE ROUND OF MINI GOLF. I brought it inside to give to the owner behind the counter for his next guests to use since we were from out of town. He said well let me give you some tokens for the arcade then instead, so we gladly accepted and played some games and won some tickets. I tried to then give him the tickets for the next kids to use who came in. He insisted that I take a prize home with me. He handed me a little 3D square puzzle with 6 pieces, and said enjoy. At first I looked at it and thought well this is a kids toy, but still very generous of him. It took me almost three weeks to complete the puzzle correctly, and each time I tried I was reminded of the wonderful couple who worked on thanksgiving running their business and made me extremely thankful on Thanksgiving for strangers like them. Not sure if this review is helpful or not, but I know I will make it a point to stop here the next time I travel to Colorado again!

When we drive to Estes Park, we always stop by to drive the go karts and hit the batting cages! It make for great memories, and our kids are now old enough to ride as well. Prices are still cheap, the carts run in great condition, and we love supporting local businesses. Another fun thing they have are real ice cream shakes. As silly as it sounds, WE LOVE ICE CREAM SHAKES! Its the little things in life we remember, and this place has always fun to go to. And yes, sometimes there are wild and unsupervised teenagers acting bad in the "arcade areas." So what??? So either grow some balls and tell them to simmer down face to face, or ask for a manager and theyll be happy to make them leave. This type of thing happens everywhere in this country. Dont bring you small children into teen arcades because they arent for little kids unless there are little kid machines. But writing negative reviews for this type of thing is wrong and inappropriate. Review about the prices, cleanliness, the fun you have and the smiles and memories you see on your kiddos faces. Its all about the kids; not about adults being bored or whatever their problems are! AS a family, we always have a lot of fun here.

This park looks better than it used to but has a LONG way to go. Putt Putt courses are updated and nice minus a crappy looking pink elephant. there was a really wierd rock crossing to get to one hole and my 4 year old almost fell in the water. (cute idea- not really safe though) We skipped 2 holes because we would have lost our balls in the water. Very new turf and bricks, gorgeous landscaping and new paint on course. new round 8 top picnic tables. covered picnic area is really old and looks hippie painted from 60s. **kids go carts are a joke, really short course, slow and old carts. ** kids train is as exciting as the 1cent horse in the grocery store. main building is quite delapedated and messy. arcade is only a few games. overpriced for quality. I think they set prices based on other go cart and putt putt places, bc they all seem the same. save your money and go to Boondocks. Its in a class its own- we were just trying Gateway Fun Park because they dont require a party booking to bring a cake onsite.

We are so glad to have this amusement option in our community. The 11-year-old human is difficult to amuse without a computer, and Gateway Fun Park is one activity that gets us away from Minecraft and Clash of Clans for a few hours! The putt-courses are challenging and SHADY, the go-Karts are perfect for pre-drivers to get a real life experience thats not an arcade driving game. Then there is the arcade... Well, the boy is old enough to be in there by himself: it is certainly too loud for me! He loves it, and always has a great time. It sit on the gorgeous, shady picnic table in the courtyard. If only they had an espresso machine!!! The staff are VERY helpful, and let the parents go into the putt-putt area to observe even if they are not playing. The go-Kart supervisors range from AMAZING and compassionate to a little sleepy, but they keep the kids safe.

Great place! Went with my nephews and family on two different occasions and had a lot of fun! Go Carts and Put-Put are the two favorites. Staff was great and the facilities are well kept. FYI Go Carts have a regulator on them that limits the engine output. Still a lot of fun and speed, but if you want to win, try to flip the governor dial knob to the "up" position on engine block on back of go cart. This will be tricky. Governor switch is a red dial on engine. Possibly can switch dial with your foot as you are loading into go cart, or standing around looking confused and slyly adjusting dial. Probably do not want staff to see what you are doing. However, that being said, the staff is great. Give them a nice "hello" and "thanks" for being so customer friendly!!!

Ive had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on multiple occasions. Plenty of parking and just a short drive from downtown Boulder which is a plus. My first visit was visiting the driving range with my Dad. I really appreciated the automated machine where we retrieved the golf balls (note to the wise: be sure the basket is under where the golf balls shoot out or else youll be retrieving them off the ground for awhile). Many choices of drivers and irons if you do not have your own clubs. Mini golf was the big draw on the other visits. Never over crowded and open both day and night. Awesome place for a date or relaxing evening with friends. I especially enjoy taking in a couple of arcade games before I head home.

Just moved here and the place we were from had a similar place the kids 11 and 13) loved to go to. Overall, enjoyed our visit and we will go back. Pros: clean, not crowded, 2 mini golf courses, golf pretty well maintained and shaded with fun themes (but not too crazy), lots of color golf balls to choose from, enjoyed the go carts, kids liked the arcade Cons: expensive even with the coupon (13.50 a person you can pick 2 attractions and get 10 arcade tokens), golf not very challenging, wish you could ride the go carts again but too pricey at $7 per ride for each kid. Did not do the human maze or driving range. Was a fun way to spend a summer afternoon.

My kids are getting older, but still enjoy the Go Karts as much as ever! My 10-yr old niece was in to visit this summer and my teens became little kids again. My niece was disappointed to not drive on her own, but was told she could ride the smaller Go Karts in the younger childrens area. However those cars were barely moving. So she was really too big for the small ones and too small for the big ones (a little disappointing for her). They enjoyed the Go Karts and Arcade (although a bit disappointed in what little is available when redeeming tickets under 500). My niece enjoyed the challenge of the Human Maze.
