Unless youre desperate dont go here. No idea why an old place like this thinks they can charge similar prices as Main Event. $4.50 per game per person plus $4.25 per person for shoe rentals. Either going off their per person price or their hourly packages, they are only slightly cheaper than places like Main Event. 5 of us shared one lane and bowled for about 2 hours and paid $92 (not including what we spent on food). If you have just a few extra bucks then use it, drive 15 extra minutes, and go to a clean, well taken care of place like Main Event! They put us on a lane with a keypad that didnt work whatsoever. You clicked one button and it bounced all over the place. To type in our names, to fix the scores it jacked up, and any time we needed to do anything on the pad we had to walk up to the front counter to have them do it. Why they didnt just switch our lane Im not sure since for a while we were one of the only two families there. The lane messed up and reset a couple times every game we played. Between the keypad and the lane not working, it was just a big headache. They dont mind charging you full price though! The toilet in the mens room didnt flush. Paid $14 for a pepperoni pizza, but it was more like a cheese pizza with a couple pieces of pepperoni on it. The beer was a decent price though. Thats about the only thing I will give this place.

Love these Lanes much more than across town. Cheap snacks from the grill are a must. Pro Shop in the building. Front desk/phone employees need to work off of a calendar so they wont schedule us when there is a tournament or regular League Play because its not nice to give us an hour at most to bowl when one calls days in advance to inquire about open lane times for a small group. This has happened multiple times. Otherwise, when we do get to bowl, the place is very clean and relatively quiet until evenings when the music ramps up. A fun place to go at any time, have bowled here for many years. Love the scoring screens.

Incredibly rude staff. Cheats, thieves. Wanted to play two games with the family, front desk guy Updike us to "all you can bowl till 11 pm" machines turned off 15 minutes early and when we went to ask about it they said they didnt care and we should not be worrying about the 15 minutes. Would not give money back and made fun of my kids. $5 for 4 cheese sticks that were worst Ive ever had. Rude food lady gave kids a hard time ordering. Lane equipment old and broken. Avoid this place at all costs. Cannot believe they are still in business. Drive a little farther so your night is not ruined

On the website For university lanes said Friday and Saturday nights are cosmic bowling nights. The music was on low and the lights were all on. My friend went to the desk and asked if there was cosmic bowling tonight and the older man behind the desk told her they only did it on tuesday. After bowling and returning the shoes I asked when did they change to only Tuesday night he stared at me for a while and with attitude said "tonight". He was disrespectful and rude. I will not be back to this place.

Hey cost $12 a game and $12 to rent your shoes this place is outrageous there is drink minimum plus the sanitary conditions of the game room & Bar are disgusting Im surprised they havent been closed by a health inspector my glass was dirty that I had my drinking and Im assuming if I ordered anything from the kitchen it would be served from a dirt field disgusting cockroach infested kitchen I would never go back to University Lanes in my life

I enjoyed it for months with my friends every Wednesday for their $1 bowling night which the advertisement stated started at 7. Weve been coming every week 6 or more people to bowl, eat and drink at 7pm sharp. And tonight we were treated extremely rudely and informed that the special didnt start until 9. The 7 oclock special was posted directly behind him. So we went 2 miles away to Brunswick zone and were treated much better

I like this place and they even have a pay to play music box thing so wento to go exchange my 20 and 10$ bills for 5s and he didnt have enough 5s in the register so he took my money and went to go get the other 5s he handed me 4 instead of 6 5s I told him about the error and he claimed adamantly that I gave him two 10s I know I didnt because the 20 was tip $$ from last week THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

Absolutely disgusting. Dirty, dingy place. Only one ramp for children in the entire place. Would not keep up bumpers in case children wanted to bowl in place of adults. Rude old man behind the counter was very ignorant and did not understand why the kids were playing with the adults. Never coming back. Not worth the time or money.

I finally stopped by to see if they renovated it or just painted it. I must say I am impressed the inside looks as better than the outside and the restrooms are clean. They carry liquor now too but they don’t have many beers on tap. They have plenty of LCD TVs to watch and the scoring is automated. I will return

Were told we were next for a lane, were even shown the screen showing our groups name next. We watched a lane open up and then watched someone slip the employee cash and somehow they got the next lane. Wont be back, theres other places to bowl.

Lanes were slick, so it was hard to get spin, but there was no line. Only two lanes were in use when I got there. For the price its great. Ill probably be making this my regular Monday night spot.

Here tonight and kids are everywhere even walking down between the lanes and sliding down them management is doing nothing... Wish I could post pictures very sad and we wont be back.

Rude staff. I was told we would have 2 hours to bowl but then shut us down after 1 hour never coming back to this place. Old man is especially rude beware.

Refurbished bowling alley, very affordable, independent owner. Not as fancy as the other place in town, but much friendlier staff.

i love it love bawling but the reason why its a 4 star is because we had a few ball problems where the ball will get stuck

20 lanes adequate for most groups. Very nice lane quality. Check for availability before you come on weeknights.
