From reserving the lanes to making the final payment I was met with one problem after another. I was given inaccurate information twice, witnessed improperly managed employees who wasted much of my valuable time (why does it take 40 minutes to accept a deposit payment and give me a receipt?) and a completely unprofessional employee who was unbelievably rude. Luckily, the day of our actual event was handled as well as could be by Amy, who did her best to make the most of this horribly managed business. How is one person expected to assign lanes, distribute shoes, get the lighter balls to the lanes, fix lanes when a ball gets stuck (over and over again), and have our pizza order ready? Yes, she was the ONLY person working both counters for the 1st 20 minutes we were there. Which is the basic problem with this business; understaffing, not fully trained staff, or rude staff. When I asked about what time the pizzas would be coming out, (when employees appeared at the snack bar finally) and after already confirming the order with Joelle (?) and Amy, I was asked by Anthony who our party host was. I explained we didnt have a party host but I ordered the pizzas through Joelle and confirmed them with Amy. They were scheduled to come out at 3:45 and it was 3:50, so I was just checking on them. The girl (didnt get her name) said, "Oh I havent started them yet." I was shocked, because as I stated, I confirmed them with 2 different people. So I asked why. Anthony then blasted at me with "I never received an order so I dont know who you talked to." I explained and he then said "Im the executive food manager..." and was yelling at me. I said, "Why are you treating me as if Im the one that has caused the problem? Obviously there isnt good communication here, which is a management issue." I asked when they would be ready and the girl said 7 minutes. I asked "All 3 will be ready in 7 minutes?" Anthony was clearly having a bad day because he huffed at me and said "What else do you want us to do?" so of course I said, "How about an apology? Im sorry we didnt have your pizzas ready but well bring them out as soon as we can." So then he mimicked me, and said "Im sorry we dont have..." I was DISGUSTED with his behavior. Truly, if the kids werent already bowling and expecting pizzas, I would have walked out. Im informing you of these problems in hopes that management will start having better trained and more staff. Employees can make or break a business. Hopefully Amy will get some well deserved recognition and Anthony will get additional training in how to communicate with customers.

Horrible service at the Double Nickel. I rate it 0 stars. Ive been here before many times but when it was Coachs. This new management is seriously lacking in customer service. The manager Lee was not sympathetic that my group of 10 had paid over $300 for a VIP and about another $200 on drinks since our bottle service was over an hr and a half late, worst service ever and I quote her "its not my problem". Really? Im at your establishment. My friends and I will NOT be returning. Party people beware.

The best way to describe this place is $h!t hole. If your the owner and reading this, you need to fire your entire staff and just start over. Waited 45 min for a lane and before just leaving. Half the lanes were open too, so either the place is just a busted wreck or the staff is to busy getting high and in the back to actually do their jobs. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else but this pathetic excuse for a buisness!

Festive atmosphere and the kids had fun bowling. My biggest disappointment was in the arcade we went to after bowling. Its half empty, not really a large selection of games. Most of the games are designed to milk you out of quarters in exchange for tickets worth pennies. So you can spend $5 in quarters so your child can win enough tickets to buy $1 worth of junk toys.

Place is run down and lacks on maintenance. Would like to go more often but a bit pricey and customers make it not a very good family friendly environment. Did I mention run down? video games broken, chairs torn up, etc.. Management needs to step up their game. Owners need to put some money into this place.

The worker with the worst and rudest customer service goes to Zahra. Your company may want to reevaluate the mission statement on the wall because she doesnt live up to what your company strives to provide. The alley is decent and has workers who provide world class customer service.

Terrible service will never be back in this hole, I was the o ly one in my group that forgot my ID and I said Id drive five mins down the street and pick it up but they kicked our whole bowling party out because of it. Will never give my service again to this place

I wish this place wasnt so understaffed or it would be perfect to come here often. Bowling is oh so fun here. The arcade is as well. Still havent tried the Double Nickel smokehouse but I hear its good. Great parking, and they check ids on the weekends.

Love Pins & Strikes, when we go bowling this is where we go... The lanes are usually always packed during peak hours, however theres an arcade for the kiddos and a bar for the BIG KIDDOS, so everyone can still enjoy themselves while waiting for a lane.

I took my 3 year old grandson to bowl. It was very early and all lanes were open. The girl at the counter put about 21 unruly unsupervised children in the lanes next to us when the entire place was empty. We could not even finish, waste of money!

Can be pretty ghetto during the night time. The arcade section is sad, old and outdated machines (some dont even work). Depending on who you ask for help, they may or may not be of use to you. Bowling section is ok though.

Great place to watch a game if you dont plan one eating or drinking much. Absolutely horrible service each and everytime! Very slow very distracted servers and bartenders...but lots of tvs to keep track of all the games.

I cant believe they started the hour time right when we paid with no time to get shoes and order a pizza. Further they wanted to charge me $2 for a pitcher of water. Very slow service and. It enough employees.

This place is über ghetto at night. If u like a place where kids sag their pants to their ankles as have no manners and the bathrooms smell like an outhouse from 1883 then this might be the place for u.

Large with huge amount of lanes. Good full service bar. Lots of arcade games for the kids. Lanes could use a bit more grease but other than that its quite fine! Also--automatic bumpers for the kids!

Very fun place. At night there are large crowds of people due to the night club attached. So not a good place for young children after about 8 pm. But great arcade games and food and bar was great.

Full bar and snack bar are a plus, small arcade area. Hard to find left handed bowling bowls. Balls constantly get stuck when bowling. Beware of sinks in bathrooms, they water pressure is crazy!
