I had the worst dining experience of my life last night. I made reservations for valentines day for myself and my fiancee. We got there on time, and it was very busy. Our waitress came over and gave us a wine list. she then immediately disappeared, and was not seen for over 15 minutes. I finally had to flag down who I assume was the owner to beg for a drink. He delivered drinks to us, and then we sat for another 20 minutes before our order was taken. I exagerate not even a little when I tell you that we had waited a total of 1 hour and 35 minutes before I finally had enough. I watched as other people were being fed who walked in 30 minutes after we did. The waitress finally came over and told us out food would be out in a minute or two. 20 minutes later, she comes by to tell us that our ticket got lost and sorry, it will be a while longer. The entire time this is happening, my drink has been empty, and I am watching the ice cubes actually melt in my glass. We have now been there going on an hour and 40 minutes when I finally just ask for my check. It is nearly 840 and we are starving. The manager comes over and announces out loud that we dont have to pay for our check. This of course further embarrasses my fiance. If you are going to comp a check, you do it quietly, not out loud for the benefit of all those now watching this unfold. This was the single worst dining experience I have had in my life. Dennys has better service than this restaurant. I should mention that this is not a cheapo place to eat either. The prices that are charged are in NO WAY comparable to the level of service offered by this establishment. Needless to say, I will NEVER come back to eat here, and I will also do my best to make sure that everyone I know does the same. I strongly advise that if you are looking for a fine dining experience in Valdosta, Georgia, that you do NOT consider this place. I should add also, that I have never in my life had to walk out of a restaurant like that, and have never felt the need to write a negative complaint about any restaurant in my life.

Ive been in Valdosta for a few years now and never took the chance to stop in and try it. Im not normally the type to leave reviews or knock a place down. But I do expect a certain quality when I pay $50+ for a meal. My wife and I both had steaks that were requested rare and were well done and even overheard a waitress telling another customer afterwards that they normally over cook a little bit more than what you want. Ive been to other countries where they dont even ask how you want it prepared and they at least do mid rare. Even our sides that sounded really great turned out to be not so great. I used to travel across the country a lot and all I could compare it to was hotel catering. I normally give places more than one try, but Im unsure if I will actually go back. I think I will ask more locals of their experience before I decide. Hope this helps someone come to a decision.

Great food! We had various small plates. Smoked Duck & Blueberry Stilton Bruschetta with Local Honey - I was expecting a little more of a flavor punch but good. Thompson Farms Crispy Braised Bacon with Gouda Grits and Cane Syrup Drizzle - DELISH!! Husband got the SheCrab soup and I got the seasonal (a squash) - BOTH were VERY tasty. Avocado fries were on the menu and were different & yummy as well. Tuna Tataki with Spicy Mayonnaise, Cilantro Soy Vinaigrette, Pickled Ginger & Wasabi Cream Sauce YUMMM! Liked this place alot & have recommended to a few travelers. Great atmosphere & has no issues with service at all. We will definitely return.

I travel for business and frequent Valdosta about once a month. I usually go between 306 North, Steel Magnolias and Outback (I know but its a convenient walk from the hotel). My boss met me in Valdosta and is definitely not a chain restaurant guy so I took him to 306 North as Steel Magnolias is closed on Mondays. He ordered the flatbread which was more like a cheese pizza. My tuna tatami was tough. Both our salads had brown chunks of lettuce. My scallops were delicious but the boss was less than impressed with his shrimp. Very unexpected as I have usually received great food and service but they were off tonight.

Best restaurant in Valdosta! Most restaurants in town are either a chain or lacking in creativity. So far, this has been our best meal in town. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. It was evident that the flavor and seasoning of the meal was done by someone who was proud of his work. He did come out of the kitchen to inquire about our meals. Great service and everyone was very welcoming. Will are definitely putting this on our list of restaurants to frequent. Not the cheapest in town but the best quality for the money.

Read the hyped reviews and had to stop from a 6 hr drive. Nice ambience, decent service and ok food. My complaint - I was excited to finally see a wine serving restaurant that offered a "cheese plate" and ordered it expecting some slices of maybe havarti, Gouda, Camembert or other decent offerings. I get a plate with cubed white and yellow cheese! Seriously!! Owner if youre reading this please reconsider you are charging $9 for cubed cheddar and American !

My wife and I eat lunch at 306 Rest. at least once weekly. Great good and great service. Jason, Meagan, and Travis usually wait on us and they always take care of us. Jason is our friend and is a hoot! I like the beef tips, fish specials, and Chicken Marsala. My wife always orders the chicken breast with Parmesan cheese. Their salads are fresh and tastey. We love 306!

The food was amazing, I had the duck bruschetta with blueberry stilton cheese as an appetizer, with a wedge salad as a starter course, and I decided on the scallops with a potatoe casserole and asparagus! My food came out in a very timely manner, the presentation was fantastic! The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable as well!

Absolutely great dinner at 306 North. The service was excellent from start to end. My husband had the shrimp and grits, my daughter had the filet and I had the grouper special. All were simply outstanding! Great atmosphere, super location, and engaged ownership. The right combination!
