One of the worst experiences of my life. Too bad, because the performers were excellent and show, Sister Act, was a lot of fun. My wife is Concierge at a local 4 star hotel. She was leaving from work. I was meeting my wife at the door and the door Nazis would not let me try to locate her. Finally found my wife and showed them our tickets so we could get in. We attempted to enter the theater to find where we were seated and once again stopped by the inside door Nazis. When I inquired why there was extra equipment set up in the primary seating area i was told very nastily "This is a dress rehearsal. They have that set up for taking notes if they need to make any changes. They are not going to leave it like that when the show starts." I never saw that before at ANY dress rehearsal I ever was invited. Event was a dress rehearsal with food provided by Buccis restaurant. OMG; worst Italian food I ever tasted. I had intentions of donating a large amount of money to the Arts Center, but not after that treatment. Arts Center Director needs to get some fresh and pleasant staff and deep six the old crabs they have there now.

Last evening we attended the 8 pm performance of Mamma Mia! The sound system did not work properly for the entire performance. The actorss voices were barely audible and the band was extremely loud and there were all kinds of extraneous sounds not in context to the musical. We paid $50. per tickets and expected a professional performance. It was an unpleasant experiences.

A nice small theater. The place a was great. There is no orchestra pit, so front row seats are right up to the stage, you have to look way up to see. I would not recommend seats in the first two or three rows. The seats were comfortable and tickets affordable.

I think the productions here get better every year. The use of professional (equity) actors is very well done.
