All time favorite course to play. We have a beach house on New Jersey Ave and a 48 ft Ocean yatch in the marina so I am fairly close to everything in case of an emergency. Staff is great and the course usually plays the best around Memorial and Labor Day weekends. In the summer, there are not as many bugs as you would expect because the course sits on a bird sanctuary and they eat most of them. Get lucky and youll see the bald eagles near holes 11 and 17. Sometimes a gentle ocean breeze will roll over the trees and it feels great. Picturesque holes with natural fescue that desire nothing more. Just a good-mood beach golf course thats close to town. Beverage girls are always friendly locals who know people that I know - and my fiancé and I are from Delaware County in Pa so that is saying something. But the best part about it? Short commute to town so youll have plenty of time to get some beach time (or boat time) in before you have to start the grille for dinner. Perfect entertainment for when the guys come down from Pa as well. Love it. (I do not have any affiliation with the course)

Cape May Natl GC Reception Staff very nice and professional. The weekend Pro Shop crew were very pleasant to deal with and enabled a smooth day of golf and fun. Shot the course on two separate days and appreciate the layout and the awesome condition of the greens. I would give five (5) stars, however; I am being a tad picky but some of the Tee boxes were a tad shaggy (minor issue), some of the trimming along the water and roughs were rather healthy i.e. long (minor issue). Everyone had smiles on their faces and very accommodating and had a warm sense of humor about them... Ill be back if I visit the area again, no doubt about it. I started out on the whites, and went to the blues on the second round, might stretch it out on the tips the next time... Thanks again for a great time.

My son and I played Cape May National yesterday and had a wonderful time. I booked the tee time online last week (one of their special rate times) and when I called to confirm the day prior to playing, everything was all set...so that was easy. The course & the wind was definitely challenging...we played from the blues...6600 yards. We loved the beautiful scenery all around and the course itself was in great shape. The starter, people behind the main desk, snack bar gal(hot dogs were huge), and the lady that cleaned our clubs and removed our bags when we were done were all very pleasant and welcoming. We will definitely play this course again when we are back in Cape May!

I am an avid golfer and have played golf all over. While I was greeted by a friendly member of the staff, it was clear that the goal of this facility was to get as many people as possible out on the course and then let them figure it out. I teed off at least 25 minutes after my supposed tee time. The whole time I was playing there was a strange smell to the course, and at first I thought it was some sort of marsh smell. After 4 hours and only 13 holes played I realized that the smell was the rotting carcass of pace of play somewhere out on the course. Too many funky holes as well.

Play ShoreGate instead. Cape May had a good layout, but that was about it. They had tee times every 5 minutes and that resulted in a wait on every tee. The management is just not good at this place. Also the cart guy named Al wouldnt put my bag on a cart until 5 minutes before my tee time. I proceeded to load up myself and go to the first tee. He needs to be fired. This is not a 90-100 dollar course, and I would not advise anybody to play here. ShoreGate is 100 times better and you get more for your dollar. Play anywhere but here.

Just an average course BUT priced like preimum course played on Sunday $90 it was very hot and several water stations had no water the lowest level GPS i ever saw it broke on one of our carts in the middle of the round called the clubhouse and was told "they all do that" and no replacement was available pretty good for a 90 dollar course(not) would have given it one more star if the equipment worked and the course. Wont play there again unless im desperate

The black tees at 6900 are a challenge especially in the wind. I was a little disappointed the greens were still repairing after aerification at this time and the traps were in very poor condition. They need a Marshall out there too as some players have no idea of golf etiquette, pace of play. The club house is nothing to write home about either. Bur I imagine during better weather this is a real nice course. And the staff were very nice.

The course was in great shape, but none of the water stations had water. For that matter, there werent even water jugs!!! When I called the pro shop, I was told that there wasnt any water because golfers wet their towels in it, but the cart girl will be around. For $89 a round I think that I can at least expect drinking water. I dont think Ill be back anytime soon.

Challenging course with lots of water and narrow, undulating fairways. Course management is key. Pace of play was reasonable - we visited on a summer Wednesday and it wasnt too busy. This is one of those rare golf courses where everyone is do 2 relaxed and easy going - the owner and staff are all wonderful and welcoming. Would certainly come back.

I booked a tee time online at a discounted rate on their website showed up was told they would not honor the price or provide a refund. The staff was the absolute worst ignorant would be the best word to describe them. If you planning on getting a round of golf in while visiting the shore do not go here.

Whole staff was friendly. Course wasnt too crowded for a sunday. Starter let us out 20 minutes before our tee time. Course was in good shape. Couple of greens were dry. Played here last year and will probably keep playing here every year i come down for vacation.

The course has always had a great layout and the conditions have been excellent. I played today and the course looks beautiful. The staff is always friendly and this course just seems to have a great vibe. Cape May National is a must play when down at the shore

Greens fast. Fairways in great shape. The course has many challenges followed by other holes that you can score well on. Water in play on some holes but very fair from the whites. Overall great day on a very beautiful course Staff were very friendly.

Very pleasant. Employees were very helpful and pleasant as well. Golf course in very good condition and degree of difficulty varies throughout. Some holes much more difficult than others to make a very interesting course.

Tremendous layout. Has trouble with course conditions, especially the fairways. No houses on the course, which makes for a great experience even if your golf game is suffering.
