Horrible venue. The rows are 50,60, and 70 seats long with no gaps. This means EVERYONE on the row that wants to get more drinks has to slide by you IN and OUT EVERY TIME. It ruins the show. Security is nonexistent, as people with cheaper seats will stand on the side, close to the stage. Crowd was absolutely lame for Tedeschi Trucks, not standing at all, while Susan was singing her heart out. Ill admit that the sound system was good, but the seats are too small. I was folded up like a grasshopper for 4 hours. I dont want to ever come back here.

TICKETS!!!! TICKETMASTER IS A RIPOFF AND THEY ARE NOT REPUTABLE. I HAVE BEEN TRYING OVER A WEEK TO GET A STANDARD EXCHANGE, STILL NOT DONE!! INSTEAD OF AN EXCHANGE, THEY ADDED THE TICKETS AS ADDITIONAL AND NOT CREDITED THE TICKETS. STILL NOT RESOLVED. GET TICKETS DIRECT, SO THE VENUE GETS MORE MONEY. LIKE THE VENUE, BUT SINCE THEY ARE USING TICKETMASTER, I HAVE TO GIVE THIS RATING.

Parking was smooth and affordable near the venue. Ticket checking went quickly and we found our seats easily. Most seats appeared to have a good view as the highest seats are not really that far from the rink. The only complaint I have is that there was not much leg room when seated (I am 59" and I felt I had to be careful not to knee the person in front of me).

Great venue to go and enjoy touring shows, musical performers, or comedy acts. Its nice that the we have a place to see shows and concerts. Seating is good from all angles and there is usually enough leg room. The North Charleston Performing Arts Center serves the community well for live shows you want to see, hear and enjoy.

We had floor seats to the Garth Brooks show. The seats were not normal sized chairs and were so close together that you could not stand facing forward without rubbing on your neighbors. I have never had floor seats that were so uncomfortable. $10 per beer was more than most places and the lines moved incredibly slow.

Traffic was better than expected, but the line going in was horrendous. I wish there was a little more room between rows. I always feel like I am going to fall forward when I stand up. The seats are also a bit small for larger patrons. You can tell they are uncomfortable and trying not to crowd their neighbors.

Horrible venue to view theatre. Probably fine for concerts. It was like seeing theatre at a ballpark. They sold popcorn and other food to eat while viewing. I felt horrible for the performers, so disrespectful. If youre a true theatre lover, dont waste your money at this venue. Youll leave infuriated!

The security and event staff were great. Came for two nights of Umphreys McGee, didnt have a single problem (other than not knowing where to tell Uber to pick us up since were from out of town). Pretty good acoustics as well for a concert, cant comment on any of the other events.

The coliseum is fine. The performing arts center is awful. Awful. Did I say it was awful? It is. Its not at all versatile, so choirs always have to use mics. This space was designed to be always used with amplification. So, its useless as a choral venue.

Mayor Summey, Why do you need to increase the charge for parking to $10 at a venue that is already taxpayer supported??? Im not going to. Im going to park somewhere else and walk and ultimately Ill attend fewer events in the long run unfortunately.

Went to see Katy Williams good seats, fair pricing drink prices are a little high $10 for cocktails and $9 for beer. Security was everywhere which is a good thing! They even have people to help you find your seat! We will definitely go again.

tried to order tickets for over an hour and keet getting different numbers which arent the right ones . If they want people to come to their shows it should be more convenient to get tickets. I am unable to come down and get them.

Went to John Mayer/ Phil Phillips concert. Spent the entire Phil Phillips show time in Line for an $8/Beer. They literally had one old lady opening and serving. Over an HOUR for a beer. I will not be back.

The venue is generous in seating but lacks the ambiance of superior performance halls. Additionally the sound system while adequate is nothings spectacular and often sounds like its being run by ametuers.

This place is home to the biggest and best national/international shows every year as well as host their own Minor League Hockey Team and many other hockey leagues. Lots of fun stuff happens here!

This is a great place to see live shows! Not a bad seat in the house. We bought tickets that we thought world be just okay and ended up being great seats that were much closer than expected.

Nice venue. Lots of seating on extremely long rows maybe 70 seats. Came for a dance competition mid week that we pd to compete in. No one said they were charging 10 to park!!

The Chick-fil-a at the food court there is horrible. One person taking orders in a Saturday night. Horrible service. A half hour to place a food order. Ridiculous.

Very congested and difficult for the elderly to find a place when attending large events like graduation. Was very cool even though it was hot outside

venue is ok, but poor design planning means that the sound is not great and the seating arrangement is not on par with expectations.

Big place, cool for conerts and seated events. Organization, however, is very bad and cramped. Food/drinks are very expensive.

Nice enough venue, but the rows are too long - expect people to be constantly moving past you. Decent sound though.
