My husband and I went here on a friday night at the end of May for our 1-year anniversary weekend trip and saw "Savannah Live", and I am sooo glad we did this! If I recall, there were 7 "stars" of the show, plus a special guest singer that Im not going to give away :) 4 guys and three girls who are all so talented. I like how inbetween set changes they would have the band perform something cool to keep up occupied, and the guitar player was HILARIOUS as well with his crazy legs! A great variety of songs, from newer pop music to oldies like the beach boys and elvis. Great variety for all ages, but I can say that my husband and I are in our early 20s, and were definitely some of the youngest people there, but thats okay! It was also nice that they had a 15 minute intermission halfway through so we could get up and stretch our legs. The ONLY negative I have is that we got there just a a few minutes before it started because we bought tickets weeks ahead of time, and knew our assigned seats so had an usher direct us to them, our tickets said we were in ROW 4, but she obviously sat us in ROW 3, but there was already people in ROW 4 right behind us, so I didnt think anything about it AT FIRST, but then the people whose seats we were now in came up to tell us that those were their seats. So somewhat embarrasses, we had to get up, find another usher (this is now while the show is starting mind you) and they had to then tell the older couple who were in our REAL seats in 4th row to move, we took their seats, and that was the last of it. Just a little but more organization would have been nice :)

There is a lot of places in Savannah to hang out and enjoy the city. If you are in a mood for music and want to get a way from the coffee shop scene, The Savannah Theater is a good place to go. My daughter and I came here a few days ago to check out what was showing and it was a musical show. "Its a musical daddy, are you sure" My daughter said, "you dont like musical". Well I thought to myself, there was nothing else to do except the bar scene, coffee shop scene or walk around eating in different places. So I decided to get a couple of tickets for my wife and I to see the "Savannah Live". We really enjoyed the musical show. The musicians and the cast were very talented and there were a variety of songs/scene from Elvis, 70s, 80s and from you favorite oldies TV show to the modern beating on a trash can scene. All the scenes were great, enjoyable and some were funny. They even had audience participation which made it a bit different and kept you into the music scene. It really captured your interest at all times and kept you entertained. The musicians had their solo scene and played really well. The musicians and cast really did a great job entertaining the audience and keeping their interest up with the different sequence of music and show. My wife and I really enjoyed it and were entertained for the evening. If you are around Savannah and would like a different scene, "Savannah Theater" is a good place to go. Even thought my family knows Im not really into musical shows, this one kept me entertained.

My wife and I visited Savannah for the first time this summer, and the Savannah Theatre really made the trip. Two shows were playing at the time... Return to the 50s and The Beat Goes On. We both enjoyed the first night so much that we immediately got tickets to the second nights show. All of the performers are top notch... the shows were a great blend of music, dance, and comedy. The shows choreographer should be proud, because she did a wonderful job. The cast worked very well together and complemented each other nicely. Of course, I have to give a shout out to my favorite performer, Ms. Rachel Pride. I consider the Savannah Theatre to be a "must see" if youre anywhere in the area.

My husband and I saw "jukebox" last night and thought it was SO much fun. All ages were in the audience and seemed to really enjoy it as much as we did. The group is very talented. I will definitely go to one of the groups performances next time we are in Savannah. For a fun night of great entertainment, dont miss the chance to attend a performance at this historic theater.

I love this place! The performers were so great and the show was phenomenal! I saw "The Beat Goes On" Its a fun family show filled with music from the 50s to the 80s. I wasnt even alive during any of those decades, but I enjoyed every second of it! They were so talented and fun and I will definitely be going back there if I ever take another trip to Savannah.

You might say that this is a biased review. I love this show and have never been disappointed with a performance. Whenever we have friends who are looking for a great time in Savannah, we bring them here. Each performance has been a high energy, fun experience. The audience is encouraged to participate...and we all had fun. I highly recommend it.

We saw the Southern Nights show this afternoon, and will, for sure, go back to see The Beat Goes On. The performers are all very talented, especially the pianist, who is unbelievable. On another occasion, we saw The Jeremy Davis Jazz Orchestra, which I believe performs there about once a month. It, too, is not to be missed.

My wife Madeline and I have attended these shows 13 years in a row. Quality, professionalism and fun are words that immediately come to mind. All of their voices have matured and easily compete with the best found anywhere. Matt and Michelle continually bring shows that make this theatre a real Savannah treasure.

My wife and I went this past Friday and Saturday night to the shows. They were both outstanding performances , very entertaining. We were here 3 years ago and the talent is still as good as ever. We are looking forward to our next trip to Savannah so we can take in other shows here.

I had a great time when I went. Showed my military ID and got in free. It was a fun and upbeat show, something different. I have to admit, these singers are really good, and I dont understand why they dont try to pursue it further. Totally a family event.

Phenomenal shows. Saw both Savannah Live and Rewind. Great performance and an awesome atmosphere. Also very patriotic, something you dont see very often nowadays. Would recommend to anyone of any age. A must see for both travelers and residents alike.

The cast is so talented that Ill match them up with anything Ive seen on Broadway. Southern Nights and The Savannah Tenors will have you moving in your seats. If your in Savannah you have to see a show at The Old Savannah Theatre on Bull St
