This theater is just ok..... They really need to update it. I avoid this theater because it looks old, feels old and doesnt have the new technology for todays movies. However, today I went to see deadpool and there were long lines to buy tickets and they were so short staffed they sold the tickets from the concession area. We were in theater #6 and the seats are ok but the screen lighting was dim and the sound was weak and almost hard to hear at times. The overall theater was cold and just ok to watch the movie. The restrooms are old and while clean, just didnt feel clean. It will probably be a while before I give this theater another chance.

Last time I went for my birthday, I near froze, couldnt even enjoy the movie it was so cold and this was in December. I told them about it, and they didnt seem to care, got a "sorry" and that was it. It takes along time for alot of the new releases to get to Ashtabula. If there is a movie I really want to see, I will travel out to the theater in Willoughby, make a day out of it, I believe its on Wednesdays, and All movies are only like $3.00 All day long. Its a much nicer theater, cleaner and with that price, it makes it worth it to pay the higher price for some popcorn and a pop. Just sayin.

Its probably the best thing in the mall now, why do u people expect a 5 star movie theater with heated chairs and a spa bathroom, it used to be a good theater till kids vandalize it, if people wouldnt make a big mess than they wouldnt need top maintenance crew, there is no reason to do repairs on the theater because its probably going to close just like every other building in the mall, you go there to watch a movie not live there youre only there for 3 hours 4 tops and if u really want to watch it for cheap then just wait till it comes out on DVD 3 weeks later and buy it.

I think that it is a VERY nice theater, and the customer service has always been energetic and pleasant. They all seem genuinely pleased to have you patronize their theater. The only drawback is the incredibly high prices on refreshments. As it is now, I rarely make a purchase because of that. I think they might fare better by lowering those prices. I think more people would come to the shows if they could afford to buy the standard fare of pop and popcorn with their ticket. I know I would. I hate telling my grandson "no" to anything, but refuse to pay the prices.

Friendly service, Bathrooms have allways been neat (I havnt been to the LATE NIGHT shows when they are overwhelmed) PRICES: Buy the bucket & for $2.00 u get a HUGE amount of refillable popcorn, all year! On Tuesdays its REALLY CHEAP, like 1/2 price, & daily MATINEE prices (before 6:00) are good too. ***So dont be a Lemming, use your head. & save some $$$*** STALE POPCORN?? Once it was a bit stale, she offered to make a fresh batch, but I was in a rush so she scooped from a diff. area of the container & it was FINE! Management seems cool too.

Total disaster.. Theyve change since the last time I was there. The new butter station was disgusting and they no longer serve your drinks. So after waiting in 2 other lines you now have to wait in a 3rd line where everyone is pushing and cutting because it takes so long that the movie already has started and they are all in a hurry. Prices are ridiculous...$36 for popcorn and 2 drinks when the employees dont even have to do that much work .. What a joke... I will not be bringing my family back !!

I went to see Jungle Book in regular movie theater April 15th, Friday 4pm. great movie. matenee= $5.75 ticket. bought small bag butter popcorn = $6.75. small soft drink = $5. 50 = total cost for 1 person = $ 18- expensive. plus tax. Now I know not to go to movie theater. $20 bill for 1 person. yes, thought odd that you buy tickets at consession stand. no one checks your ticket , you just walk to theater. Bathroom was dirty and cracked floor tile and no toilet paper.

Theatre is run down. The seats are uncomfortable and rows are almost even, so if it were full you would have a hard time seeing, but that probably wont happen... I went on a Friday evening to watch Lego Batman and my Son and I were the only ones in the Theatre. We had to wait til the movie started to even go in because no one had cleaned the Theatre due to them not selling any tickets...

Worst Theater in Ohio. Please go to the Willoughby one and make the drive out there. Reclining seats and the best sound Ive ever experienced at Willoughby. This carmike cinemas has permanent sticky floors, the sound is horrible and the seats are falling apart to the point there are holes in almost all of the seats. (read first sentence again)

Took my son, daughter, grandson, and two friends to see Finding Dory last summer. After snacks, drinks and movie, I was out $112.00, and that was a matinee! Worse part of all, I spent the majority of the movie in Kmart walking my grandson who couldnt sit still. Money well spent.

I love this cinema! Carmike is one of favorites for popcorn and their bucket deals. Also love how much theyve been fixing up the theater to make it amazing, now that they have teamed up with AMC Im excited to see what they will bring here.

Solid theatre. Easy to park, you can always get a ticket. Parking it great. If you think its bad its because youre to young to remember the one in Saybrook.
