This is a very nice little municipal course. Its a short course (Par 67), and is very compact, but plays nicely. The front nine is mostly open with few hazards, fairly flat and is good for beginners. Its forgiving with up-and-back fairways, so if you shank a shot, youre probably still going to have a good chance to recover (with the exception of the outside fairways on the boundaries). The back nine are located across the street (actually, back 11, since 8 & 9 are there as well) and are a completely different play. They are hilly with many more trees, so its a completely different round once you make the turn. Fairways are shorter and narrower and a bit more technical, but still very playable for the casual golfer. The back nine is my favorite part of the course, despite being tougher. Its got an "up north" feel, despite being tucked into a residential section of Ann Arbor (there are no houses on the course). Its always been very reasonable in terms of green fees, and is a great little course if you just want to jump out and get a quick round in.

Dont even bother trying to do football golf here, you will be treated like scum and chased around by a guy in a golf cart, stopping you every other hole telling you that you are taking too long. Well maybe if you didnt stop us every other hole. Why even bother offering this, and charge, if you dont want people kicking soccer balls around your golf course? Fantastic job, AA Parks and Rec.

This is a wonderful municipal golf course. It offers inexpensive golf to the masses on a beautifully maintained course. No hurries, beautiful views and beginners are not only welcome, but encouraged to come out and learn the game. They have discounts for college students, GAM members and juniors. A wonderful experience with friendly staff.

18 holes with the front 9 being completely different than the back 9. They also have foot golf which is stupid but if youre into that than itll be good for you. Not a bad course for the money and location.

Had so much fun. Played as a single with my 2 year old riding along on our day off together everyone was very friendly and the course was nice. Had some flooding after all this rain but no problem.

Back 9 is spectacular. Front nine is flat. Play it for the back, and for the price. Cant beat the rates, and youll be able to move quickly on the course.

The lady work there, Sandy Kent, was horrible. She was the most unpleasant person Ive ever talked with. I would never go again as long as she work there.

Great course, not overly difficult. Love the setting and how the holes play. Lots of rolling hills, difficult par 3s and exciting long drive holrs

Yep, Its got hills. On a couple of fairways the hills actually funneled the ball to the middle of the fairway ... bonus!

Course condition mostly good but there are many bare spots. Some holes on back nine have tree(s) blocki g fairway.

Wide open course along the Huron River. Since 2009 golf carts are available. Come enjoy an unhurried round.

Simple course. Upkeep could be better but if youre just in for a casual game of golf, this place works.

Best kept secret ever. Forget yardage. Harder than you think. Once you play it you are hooked
