As a spoiled Twin Cities beer lover, I was curious to explore breweries across Montana. Lewis & Clark was an awesome and overwhelming experience. We went on a Thursday, and it was nice to feel like we werent cramped for space - we nearly had a whole room to ourselves. The beer was tasty and had enough of a difference in its styles to make it a worthwhile stopping point. The barrel-aged Weizenbock and the Tumbleweed IPA were our favorites, but we wished we could try more.

I come to the brewery often and absolutely LOVE the wide array of beers. Tonight, however, was my first opportunity to try their newly installed kitchen. I had the pepperoni pizza- something easy to compare- and it was, shall I say, DELICIOUS!! Having the option of beer, wine and food makes this an awesome date night, as the atmosphere is just as inviting as my favorite... Prickly Pear! Rock on, L&C, and Ill see you next time!

Hefe W above avg for Amer style 5.5abv ; Sim-Pale Ale 5.9abv very good while different than the other ; Pale Ale very good 5.9abv ; IPA 6.9abv no floral a bit below avg ; no stout/porter WtH? ; pizza great crust spend extra pennies for some garlic/Italian seasoning its not much to ask for ; 18 months later the Pale is still the best of the set. - Had the Pale Ale, IPA, stout ; all good the Pale was the best of the set [Nov2014]

Im Seans dad living in Bend, OR which has many really good breweries but not as good as L&CB. Sean started out Deschutes Brewer as a keg washer, then head keg washer, eventually becoming a brewer. I remember Sean telling me that many IPA beers were too hoppy and needed to be made smoother - so thats the start of his craft. I wish he was here so I could enjoy his beer. My parents and I were there from an early hour and I went to the restroom and they chose to not let me back onto the porch where I had left my things because there was a band playing for ($25 cover) I couldnt gather my family or my things to leave. Very disappointed with my experience. Very very unhospitable

I used to not care so much for LnC Brewing, but their beers have really improved over the years. The old paint factory is cool and they did a stellar job fixing it up. Trivia nights are a kick in the pants. Miners Gold and Scottish Ale are both solid choices.

Great atmosphere. Even better beer. Lots of room. Flew from Denver and then drove from Big Sky to try it. Was not disappointed. Stout is fantastic. Lots of goodies in the gift shop!

I come here every time I visit Helena. The majority of the beers are easily drinkable. Miners Gold hefeweizen and Back Country Scottish Ale are particularly pleasing.
