As a frequent patron of your theater, I am extremely disappointed that you are not showing the film The Promise. You always seem to bring other holocaust/genocide movies as part of an educational experience to your loyal audience but yet this time it seems there is no effort being made to show one of the most horrific events in the history of not only the Armenian people but of mankind. I hope that you will reconsider this decision.

Attended this theater in Pleasantville Ny, to view " Moonlight" - The establishment is made up of about 4 theaters . They specialize in foreign & independent films, which is great if you want to view and support independent and upcoming film makers. Great experience, staff were helpful and friendly. Theater was antiquated but i loved it nonetheless!

A fun place to watch arty films with like-minded cinema buffs (if you consider yourself one). The building is beautifully designed and the theaters are plush, comfortable, modern and clean. Excellent selection/curation of films (both old and new) and friendly staff. Slightly pricey but worth it to support this unique nonprofit theater.

One cant say enough good things about this place. its choice of movies is just amazing. The only down side is trying to get in some of its presentation. Can at times be sold out. But what else can you expect when the place is soooo good. Just buy your ticket in advance and come early for a good seat...

Love "the Burns" as it is affectionately called. However, very upset that the Richard Gere film, Meet the Patels and Breathe were only there for a week. Can they be brought back for slightly longer runs????

Have been members for about five years. Terrific variety of films, unique and first runs. Many that do not show at large theater chains. Comfortable, intelligent audiences, never a hassle.

Great local theatre, saw "A Man Called Ove" which was an exceptional film. A must see. Even if youre not a far of foreign, independent films, go check it out, you wont be disappointed!

The JBFC is the equal of or surpasses the best art film centers in New York City. It is a haven for film lovers that is responsive to its membership. My favorite theater for film.

Excellent movie selection, clean and comfy seats. The only downside is that the theaters are really really small. You have to come early to secure a reasonable sightline.
