Went to see the Expendables and halfway through the movie the screen turned complete white and you can clearly notice the movie had finished from the reel. The theatre was packed and a dozen or so people got up including myself and went out to find the manager. I finally found the manager 5 min later only to be confronted in a defensive manner with an extremely rude attitude. I just asked the manager Mike ( who happens to actually be one of the theatre owners) what happened he snapped at us saying that is the way it is supposed to be. (there were about 5 of us there at the time) I said a screen turning completely white is not the way it is supposed to be. He said there were two reels and that I did not miss any parts of the movie. Then he came up towards me and said in an antagonistic way " you want to bet $10,000? I said yes I’ll bet you twenty. He walked away and I end up missing over 5 minutes of the movie and the whole theatre did miss parts of the movie as well. It was obvious that the person in charge of switching on the other reel to make a seamless transition apparently was not doing their job!!!!!!!! The proper thing to do Instead of the owner snapping at us and becoming defensive and rude should have just acknowledge it was the theatres fault and just apologize instead of popping a bad attitude. I don’t care if it was wacky Wednesday the only thing wacky was the theatre owner Mike S !!!!!!!!!!!! I will never go back again!!!!!!!!! I rather pay a few bucks more to a theatre that actually cares about their patrons!!

Twice this week L visited Movie World, my experiece being horrible and so un enjoyable.. Kids in the movie making loud and inappropriate laughter and chatter. when an adult politely beg for quiet this with adults were rude to a very nice adult and continued the rudeness.. A lady approach the manager and she was nicely blown awayand told she should have complain .The woman confess that she was afraid to leave her seat for fear of a big group of grown teenager with aults taking action against her As she spoke to the manager a big part of the group remain in front of her face, She said no usher ever came down the aisle to establish order and set a quiet tone..I was afraid for these ladies myself as they walk out of the theater. They deserve their money back. B oo for your company. This woman felt threaten and should have gotten her money back

Usually this theater is terrific and friendly but today they royally messed up. All the websites said Tarzan was at 3:50 PM we drive 25 miles to get there. Especially because they have a pre 4pm price break. We get there and there are all these irate people and I find out that the website is wrong. The real time is 4:40. We ask for free vouchers or even a break to the pre 4 pricing if we buy the tickets. They refused! One guy asked if they realized the site was wrong and they argued with him. Then he said why dont you fix the site. They said that they told corporate of the time issue and that it needed to be fixed right away. I asked them when they noticed it and they said two days ago!! I piped in and said wow that sure is right away!! Their indifference was unprofessional and will keep me away for a while !

Appreance is the only nice thing in this place. I always go to Loews theater in Bayside but they didnt have any 3D movies and my children wanted to go see a 3D film. We went to Movieworld for the first time and it was horrible. THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS BLURRY! MY SONS EYES WERE TEARING THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE. We complained and spoke with the manager and he said sorry thats the projectors fault. Imagine that! Rediculous! He could have told me that when I paid extra for a 3D film and I would have purchased tickets for the regular film not 3D. I would never go there again and I will make sure I tell everyone my experience so they wont go there either. SO SAD THE MOVIE THEATER AND THE MANAGER DONT FIT THE NEIGHBORHOOD...

This is a smaller theater that you really need a vehicle to get to because I didnt see public transportation in the vicinity. I also love that Macys is right next door so you can go and shop or browse if you want before or after your movie. I was ectastic to find out for checking in to Yelp I received a small bag of popcorn. The seats in the theater were a lot more comfortable than other theaters. I saw the movie "Twelve years a slave" during the early afternoon on a weekday and paid $6.50 I think. I was very happy the theater was quite empty so other patrons couldnt see how I emotional I was during the movie. I will defintely return to this theater again

I love this movie theater. Its like my little hideaway on any given day of the week. My friends and I discovered it in high school and we kept coming as a film club retreat or hang out/getaway. I love how small, cozy, and unassuming. The people who work there are truly very kind and generous, probably because they are family owned. They always let me take crazy photos by their displays and gave me a huge movie poster once from the Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Whenever Im there I feel completely at home. The prices are affordable and the service is wonderful. It will always have a special place in my heart and, even, in my stories.

Great old-school movie theater, provides the perfect backdrop for an inexpensive first date, cool teen hang-out spot thats also safe with super-clean bathrooms for seniors and all. I mean the ladies room is consistently clean and supplied with toilet paper and hand wash. They have a pizza parlor inside and lots of gaming for the younger crowd. PLUS, to make it just perfect, they only charge $7.00, for adult admission. for all shows, SEVEN DAYS per week, before 5:00PM, you cant even come close to that price ANYWHERE in the metropolitan area. You will be so happy that you chose this theater with food and top notch snacks.
