Conveniently located on the corner of a populated Jamaica Avenue spot, you get all types of crowds than run through here. By the entrance youll either find people loitering or soliciting (cigarettes, cab rides, whatever) when the cops are not there watching over the place like children. This place seems small from the outside but is surprisingly huge when you reach inside. The lobby is well decorated and spacious(granted you go at an early enough time). Oh, and thats another thing, if you really want to avoid the obnoxious, loud, ghetto crowd, whether they be school kids or adults its highly recommended to catch the early as possible showings. Its your best chance to not have people talking throughout the beginning of the film or mothers bringing their crying kids in a rated R movie because they couldnt afford a baby sitter or something. The managers/supervisors are nice. The staff, 50-50. The ones that have been around longer are nice. Then you got these come-and-go lazy ghetto teens who dont appreciate the value of having a job. Okay, okay, heres an example: its like 2 pm and NO customers by the food line, as I go to order I hear the biggest sigh from this brat, turning ever so slowly and with a miserable face she goes "can I take your order" but it was with a look of "what do you want Ive been here all day". Oh, Im sorry, are you tired? Its a slow day, you had ONE customer and youre exhausted? Plenty of people looking for work. Dont want to work there? Get out and give your job to someone who needs it. Dont wait until you have kids to take work seriously... This happened another time with a male cashier before. They only do this crap when the supervisors arent around to straighten up their spoiled attitude...and with all that attitude comes stale food, like popcorn for example. Food is 50-50 here. 50% chance the popcorn will be stale, chewy and probably make you cough. Sometimes the hot dogs will have a nasty hardened skin (which can actually be pealed off). This occurs when the meat sits for too long, obviously. The rest of the food is fine, albeit expensive. Those movie showcase cards dont offer the bonuses they used to so expect to spend a lot of money on tickets and food before you get enough reward points to get a free something or other. The theaters themselves are pretty nice. Large with comfy seats. Clean. Just dont go on Tuesdays! Yes, Tuesdays is discount movie ticket day, but the types of people that come in there...just pay the extra money and go someplace else...you really see the difference why. Movies arent very diverse...or not diverse enough. Youd have a movie involving Madea which lasts for weeks on end and then you have a movie, lets say off the top of my head, Scott Pilgrim vs the World which barely lasted any time at all. They have a few Indian movies too but I dont see why they just dont show other films if theyre going to go that route. If the crowd is mostly this and that, lets just show this and that, obviously choosing the Applebees crowd-blending tactic. (No personality on their own, is what I meant) Overall, its okay but if you cant make an early showing...go to Manhattan. Its worth the extra bucks and youll see the huge difference in quality.

December 27th 2016 night at the movies Over 1000 people in theater Tuesday night and the owners turn off the escalator ! this is also on a normal basis I find the escalator off. Have you ever had to use the 1 and ONLY elevator from garage to theater is about 4x4 closet size the most, and always over crowded, also a fire hazard and possible over working the elevator. Which will be soon not working as well. My wife is 8 months pregnant and had to climb the escalator stairs almost had a heart attack. And short of breath, dont worry soon as someone dies or has an accident then they will fix the service situation. All the money they are making and u mean to tell me they try to save money and turn off the escalators and the theater is on the highest elevation looks like a mountain. This would never happen in certain neighborhoods. Also forgot to mention Broken kiosk. WOW

Guys. If you ever come here just know that the manager is a very disrespectful lady. She tried to make me and my family feel stupid. We tried to play the games on the floor and the machine that gives you the cards inorder to play was not working properly.so wen I asked her for help, she responded No !! That she didnt have anything to do with the machines. So after arguing for a few minutes and making her feel stupid. She gave us back the money we put into the machine. Yeah . The money she said I wasnt getting back. This lady sucks. I be alive her name is linnet. Other then that rude lady. The security and the ticket people in the front are awesome. Maybe because they can relate to why I was so upset.. I will post her video on YouTube. Yeah I got it on camara. Ps. Enjoy your job Linnet. You must be single . You are very miserable

1. There are super bright ceiling lights on in a few the camera rooms that back lights some of the theaters. It drives me crazy. Its like watching a movie in a dark living room and having someone shine a bright pen light into the top peripheral of your eyes during the whole show. 2. When you buy tickets for a 3D movie from the kiosk, you have to cut in line and ask for glasses from someone at the ticket counter. Why not give the guy ripping the tickets the job of handing out the glasses? He is able to see what movie is 3D. "3 tickets to 3D beauty and the beast? Here are 3 glasses and its the first hall to your right." Simple as that. But NO, if you buy from the kiosk, you have to piss 20 people off that have been waiting in line for glasses.....and dont get me started on validating parking if you buy from the kiosk.

The multiplex was scheduled to open at 11am. I had to call the theater to let them know that the doors downstairs were locked. They did not unlock the doors until 11:15am. The person unlocking the doors did not even apologize for having customers waiting in 30 degree weather. After purchasing our tickets they were held hostage by an employee and we were told we could use the rest room but could not enter until 11:45am which is 5 minutes before our show time. This theater and their customer service is deplorable. I brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday. Worse mistake ever. I will never revisit this multiplex again. Moviegoers beware. One maybe two star rating...

We go to movies not for the staffs or services but for the movie experience. I was watching the conquering 2 here and I had the worst time ever with my friends, and Emmanuel, especially was about to blow his cap off. He was so uptight about the obnoxious kids behind us that it was the first time Ive seen him mad. The kid wont stop talking for the ENTIRE time. People cant hold a 5 minute conversation nowadays but these kids did for 2 hours. So, I would suggest you guys avoid times with kids being available to go to the threatre. I also watched the ouiji movie here too, same problem, not to the full extend however.
