We recently had our wedding at the Inn, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I fell in love with it right away because I could tell it was the kind of place that really knows how to put on a good event- they know how things should look, how people like to be treated, and above all that all the little things add up to a great experience for everyone. The building is beautiful, well decorated and lovingly maintained (which is important to me as an architect). All the staff are just as nice and professional as can be and I felt like they went out of their way to make it a great day. There is only one wedding at a time, but there may be another event- the other event on our wedding day was well separated from ours and was no trouble at all. There is a bridal attendant and Maitre D assigned to keep things running smoothly. I forgot one item and managed to spill on my dress at the reception, and they were prepared and took care of both things right away. The only down side is that we didnt hire a DJ, and the in-house sound system was not ideal. We had someone tending the iPod but the system didnt work very well so we had some skips in the sound during the ceremony and during the reception- but no one was dancing anyway so I dont think it really mattered. I would just recommend using a DJ. Most importantly, all our guests loved the food and said they had a great time.

We hosted a wedding here this past Saturday 11/26/16. To say that the event was Spectacular would be an understatement and would not give this venue its proper due. Our event was far more than spectacular. From the original event planner, to the bridal attendants, the servers, the bartenders and even the valet parkers, but especially, Melvin the MaitreD, everything was perfect!!! the food at the cocktail hour was done to perfection, the food at the reception was first class and top notch. The rooms for the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception were done up perfectly! and although I already mentioned the excellent service, it needs to be mentioned again, THE SERVICE WAS THE EQUIVALANT TO A FIVE STAR HOTEL!!! we had just shy of 250 people and to hear people leaving say "This may be one of the best weddings they have ever been too" is all you can ever ask as a host. If you do not at least consider this venue when planning your next affair, you will surely be missing something spectacular. Again, many thanks to the entire staff for making my daughter and son in-laws special night, truly a night to remember.

This place is ratchet! Know multiple people that have worked there and they treat staff like slaves and very bad! The "Owners" are VERY greedy people! You can tell food is prepared from package or in microwave?!! Absolutely, UNACCEPTABLE for a wedding event. After paying thousands on wedding, who wants to pay thousands more for a reception with McDonalds quality food. Staff is unprofessional and you can tell they dont care. Place could also use friendlier staff and an update on decor. On special day, I dont appreciate smelling dirty armpits and finding hair in food! They dont force staff to shower? Anyway, 1 star because cant give it a 0. Soooo many other great places in beautiful Long Island to hold an event for same if not better price and a better experience as a whole. DONT GO HERE! Youve been warned.

I had my wedding at the Inn at New Hyde Park on September 12, 2014. I cannot put into words how happy my husband and I were. We were welcomed by the staff and immediately knew we were in great hands. The venue was gorgeous, food was amazing, and staff went above and beyond. Our guests cannot stop talking about it all; especially the cocktail hour- food and Tuscany Room. Thank you to Ernsue, Liz, Melvin, the manager, the security guard, and the entire staff that worked on our wedding. You all helped make our day flawless and a memorable evening for all. We fell in love with the INN a year ago and hoped our wedding would be amazing. It far surpassed our expectations and dreams! We both cannot wait to come back and will be recommending the INN to all future couples getting married.

The Inn at New Hyde Park recently redid their interior. They have some of the greatest food on Long Island for Wedding Venue. We had our wedding their in August of 2016. The wait staff was more than accommodating including our bridal staff. They offer a bed and breakfast for the bride and groom after the wedding which was super convenient. The outside garden is great for pictures and although we had rain for the beginning of our photoshoot, they allowed us to go out back for some evening shots. The room for the after party was great and included a patio section with high top and regular tables. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings and other large parties.

Never goto New Hyde Park Inn at 214 Jericho Tpke. for any event.I have had 3 events at New Hyde Park Inn and attended 4 more at the Inn. The service and food was less then mediocre for all events. At all the cocktail hours and boufettes, any seafood or carving station was not refilled until asked/or demanded by someone from the party. You do not get what you pay for.The staff and food is "NOT CLEAN". At every event, the guests have become sick with a stomach virus or ecoli like symptoms. Any Scotto Brothers owned facility has provided excellent service and food but most of all none of my guests have complained of food sickness.

My husband and I had a summer wedding in August 2016. The venue and the staff was so amazing and very accommodating to our needs and to our guests as well. My family and friends still continued to talk highly of our wedding and that it was the best experience EVER!! I was very pleased to hear that. After a year planning so strongly and the headaches along with forgetting little things, we managed to enjoy our day. The Inn Staff defiantly lifted weights off our shoulders with the stress. They also treated us like were there family and I couldnt have chosen a better venue than The INN.

I was very disappointed in the preparation and subsequent taste of the wiener schnitzel during dinner with friends. Two others in my party had the same reaction. Using a pounder with a diamond pattern, the cutlet was too thin and dry. As you cut into the cutlet, all the breading slid off revealing the tasteless meat underneath. The Inn itself was beautifully decorated and the service was excellent. Other members of my party ordered duck, lamb, chicken and filet. All enjoyed their entrée.

IP Freely is biased. He is with the Scotto Brothers Catering company. He says "his guests never complained about food sickness". Why would he make that statement if he wasnt talking about his own restaurant? One of his restaurants was sued by its employees "Chateau Briand". They had to pay back wages of $250,000. Ive attended dinners at the Inn at NHP and they were wonderful, CLEAN and the food was delicious.
