This rating is for the movie theater located within the Town Hall building. I have not done business with the town, building rental, etc. The movie theater is a nice theater showing second run films after the release in major theaters. A large, illuminated dome looms over the auditorium. The screen is suspended over the stage, with clear sign lines from everywhere, including the balcony, which is opened on busy nights. As of this review, the ticket prices are $3 per individual. While still cheaper than mainstream theaters, this is an increase from the traditional $2 pricing held for years. Concessions are also available, with warm popcorn, candy, beverages, and Slushes available for purchase. There is no glass allowed in the theater, so dont be surprised when you get that Snapple you ordered in a paper cup! Concession prices have gone up a few cents, but are all still in 25¢ increments and a better deal than most major chains. They will run a film for a week, Thursday to Wednesday. The theater will also hold special events and showing frequently, so check out their website or call to see what is playing and any specials coming up!

Ive a huge fan of Edmond Town Hall Theater since moving to the area. Its the only place I know to see first run movies in second tier release time-slot. I can afford to escape the couch experience, take everyone out and and socially intermingle. I gladly make the exchange for my own comfy chair. There are local, live performances to enjoy on a fairly regular basis. They have gone digital. Their old film projector has been replaced with a digital delivery device. Now we are beginning to see classic film festival offered more frequently. Now you can rent a a room for an event, celebration or party and see a movie too boot. Forget the cold and mechanical DVD dispenser. For pennies more I can enjoy a night out with friends. Most performances @ the theater are $2.

Gorgeous old building and theater in a beautiful town.. Well maintained, with tons of charm. Extremely reasonable ticket and snack prices make it very family friendly. Exceptional staff, great movies and events. Highly recommended. One of my favorite places to go. The new theater seats are very comfortable and beautiful!!

Brings back memories of when I was a young boy growing up , 1 movie in a theatre at a time. Then theaters started to split, then multi- plex theaters. E . T. HALL is LARGE ENOUGH FOR THE ONE MOVIE & well kept, SMALL CONCESSION for snacks,I LOVE HISTORIC PLACES LIKE THIS

Ive been going to Edmund since I was a child. They offer movies for $3 a seat and have concessions too. Nowhere else can you see a movie for that price. The atmosphere is also neat as its a very old building and has a fair bit of other stuff as well.

We enjoy coming for the movies, but there is also an incredible mural depicting historical sites around Newtown. Its worth pausing to learn more about the rich history in this great town.

Its hard not to love a movie theater that only charges $2 for tickets? That said, the recent AV upgrades make it a first rate facility, my favorite place to see a movie hands down!
