I have been to this banquet hall 3 times for a wedding, 2 I recommended and I was totally impressed with the staff and the banquet halls beauty. I wanted to have a 50th Anniversary party here, per my mothers request. I was NOT pleased with the first impression on the phone with a staff member. It was obvious they really were not interested in hosting our party at their facility because of the lack of patience, really did not want to take the time to work with me, and I had to ask for options and it was all the same response, and showed lack of professionalism. Last but least, they recommended to me to consider having my parents party at a restaurant that has a room attached to it for the price I was looking for. How insulting! I will no longer recommend this place after 7 years of having this facility on the top of my list. Im very disappointed.

Just had my 8/8/15 wedding there and it was amazing. I had gotten sick from something I ate BEFORE getting to my wedding but the matrodee and bridal waiter where beyond accommodating and really tried to get me to feel better and get me threw my bridal duties quickly. I worked with Rachael for the planning and she too was so amazing. I felt like they really cared and wanted to make me happy. We just weren’t another pay check to them. We had the rainbow room which my guest loved the views, they loved the food and there was plenty of food. The ceremony needed no decoration because they grounds where clearly well cared for. I strongly recommend them for any and all events.

Although my fiancee and I did sign a "contract" and deposited $500, we were hit with unexpected financial and personal issues hindering our ability to meet the date. When we tried to explain our unfortunate situation to sinapis and ask for our deposit back (sinapis didnt do a thing, the 500 was to hold a spot) the thuggish nature of sinapis (with this lou character) shined through and true. They were surly, unrelenting and focused more on the contract then having any human compassion. Arbor ridge, Anthonys Pier 9, villa barone are much better, friendlier, have better food and are more understanding to the curveballs of life.

Had events in the pass that were great 5+ years ago, but my recent experience for my sisters wedding reception was horrendous! The Maitred absolutely STUNK!!! He was extremely pushy and moody. He looked unhappy the whole night and made guest uncomfortable. Lou needs to make some serious changes with his team because his business has drastically changed.
