On the positive side, its relatively clean environment, in a nice area. The staff is ok, except the dude that works there on Saturday night at the counter. Hes a rude jack A. The lanes are synthetic, which is good. Other than that, they have some serious issues. 1. Touchscreen lane computers dont always work. 2. 80% of the times we go, there is mechanical failure on the pin-setters, the ball return or both. If that happens on a Saturday, you will be waiting long times between balls for the mechanic to fix your lane. 3. The pins are old and many are cracked, this means dead pins. Dead pins = lower scores. 4. Oiling is inconsistent and not really a priority. 5. Inconsistent pricing depending on whos on duty. My family is in a league there and visit a lot, sometimes we get a discount on open bowling (which we are supposed to), sometimes we dont; sometimes we get two lanes for league practice for no additional cost, sometimes we get charged double for two lanes. 6. Saturday night is too busy, too expensive, too loud, etc, and not for everybody. 7. They run out of shoes always on the busier nights. I have my own, but when I go with friends, they often have to bowl with their sneakers. Other bowling alleys dont even allow that for safety reasons, but they have plenty of shoes. At Colonial, they dont care too much about that. 8. Pricing is cheap on certain nights and times, but Friday and Saturday its outrageous. Hourly rates seem high. Overall, the pricing isnt terrible, but for all the equipment problems, they should either lower the prices, or improve the equipment. All in all this could be a good bowling center, but they need to improve the equipment more than anything. For the prices they charge and with the bar, they should be able to afford it. 2 out of 5.

My experience at colonial lanes was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Me and my friends came here today to go bowling and we told the person behind the counter that we (there was 5 of us including myself) were all sharing 1 lane and 1 game for exactly 1 hour. They said okay and charged us like $20.00 so we paid the 20.00 including the money for the show rentals. Once we paid, my friends and I went to sit and put our name into the computer so we can bowl. We each had a turn to bowl at least twice and then the game shuts off!! We only played for 10 minutes even though we paid for 1 hour. My friends and I confronted the people behind the counter and they were very rude and lazy! No help at all and had a bad attitude towards us! Do not come here unless you want to get ripped off and get your money taken! Spend your money somewhere else like McDonalds so you can get a happy meal at a DECENT PRICE!! Worst bowling alley ever! if I can rate it 0 stars I WOULD

My son celebrated his 6th Birthday here. It was a great time all around. The staff couldnt do enough to help ensure that we had absolutely everything we needed to ensure a pleasant experience both before & during the party. Jon the owner was also so kind to us. One of the most positive qualities is their realistic approach to a childrens party...you cannot anticipate certain curve-balls such as people not RSVP-ing and showing up or sickness/last minute cancellations and no-shows. They charged me for those children that were present during the party and participated in the bowling activity. Our hostess Cameron was dedicated and went above and beyond to ensure a positive outcome! Lastly, I would like to mention that the lanes were in excellent condition, the place is immaculate and the food is delicious! Definitely consider Colonial Lanes for you next party!!!

My family and I try to make it to Colonial Lanes every couple of months for a fun and relaxing time. My boys compete with me about who will win...and one of them usually does. The food is great, the atmosphere welcoming, and the staff are always helpful. Sure things go wrong, but in this day of modern machinery, that is to be expected. The staff does their best to get things rolling along quickly (pun intended). Highly recommend this place for family FUN!!! And make sure you check out holiday special events.

I take my family here all the time and we always have a terrific time. Its the perfect family place. My kids love it. They even have comedy nights which my husband and I love and we get to have a fun date-night out. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is also top-notch. Sometimes we come just for the food. Its that good! This place has everything. You cant go wrong.

It was a disorganized place the screens where broken and it took 15 minutes at the counter to let someone know. By far a dive is a understatement this place was being run by teenage employees that are understaffed.

Such a great bowling facility - fun and friendly environment. Tightly run ship! Also, the tavern is so good it caught us off guard. Now we go sometimes just for the food. Highly recommended.

If youre a halfway serious bowler, avoid this place in the weekend. Approaches were hit or miss to the point where my slide foot stopped cold and I went to both knees hard and painfully.

What a great family place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I come with my kids at least once a month. The restaurant is very good also and reasonably priced. The burgers are amazing.

The shoes are all worn out, the name machine did not work, no music, some lanes are broken, they have groups of 7 on one lane , some shoe sizes are not available

Way over priced! And on top of it way over charge you for bowling shoes! For those prices you can do alot at The Castle instead.

Nice place to go bowl. It has an arcade but mostly has kids games. It has an attached sports bar that is nothing special.

Beer tasted watered down and the scoreboards above the lanes werent even turned on. Nice place to bowl in general though.
