My family and I are visiting Port Jervis for the first time. We dropped by PJs while we all like to bowl. The person I spoke with early in the day stated they didnt have bumpers for children. It wasnt a big deal while my 4 year is actually pretty good and my 2 year old just likes to be with us. The lane we started on sloped down pretty bad on either side of center. I know while I was bowling and was playing the slope to see how badly it really was. After a couple frames, I asked if we could switch to another lane. The woman running the alley stated no-while they were all the same. The lane to our left and right didnt have a nice crease running down the center as ours did. Normally it wouldnt have been too big a deal-but considering we were the only people in the entire alley, it was awful customer service-she didnt even bat an eye. Were enjoying our time here so far. PJs was awful. Stay away.

First time being here after the new owners. Much more family oriented. Has 2 pool tables, clean lanes and fresh new carpet. The previous quick draw playing day drinking crowd is gone. Fair prices. Lacking a 5 star due to the conditions of the mens room lacking a changing table and the age and quality of the balls and shoes. Attentive, kind and pleasant staff members. Kids rails are available upon request.

Your LED sign is going to cause accidents! Has anyone driven past PJ Bowl at night? Their LED sign is so obnoxiously bright that it blinds you! Turn down the brightness, or get rid of it before someone has a road accident.

Stopped in to bowl here with a couple friends. This old school alley was a lot of fun and really cheap (coming from nyc). Manual scoring, they have a jukebox, and a bar (sort of).

2 years ago the place was sold and a new owner put A LOT of money into the place. Its a nicer place now. Clean and a great place for the family on Saturday night.
