This was great! My review is a little biased because I went with my sister and my niece for a special event today: Earth Science Day. So there were vendors and tons of informational demonstrations that are not normally there that added to the fun of the day which included the fossil hunt (which is their normal draw). My niece had SO much fun searching for and collecting fossils. I dont know how many times I heard, "Thank you, Aunt Jamie!" This is such a great family activity, especially if they have something supplementary going on there as they did today. It was fun AND educational: the perfect opportunity to be an Aunt!

Im local who thinks this place dose not get enough credit. Pay a admission to get in, dig up as many fossils as youd like and learn from experts at the site. That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. They also have summer camps, volunteer opportunities, are open to field trips and some digging tools for you if you dont own any. Anyone of all ages would like and learn from this amazing site. Ten out of ten do recommend.

Awesome! We were entertained all day, hardly noticed the time passing. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff made us feel like we were part of the crew and digging with friends. We found hundreds of fossils.

Geologists on site tell you all about your findings. You can bring home all the fossils you unearth! Its not only a dig site, its a nature reserve. Theres excellent birdwatching and astronomy opportunities all spring/summer

First time I have been here , we took my grandson and had such a good time , found so many fossils he had a blast and wants to do it again I recommend to do this as a family outting staff was friendly and informative

This was an absolute treasure trove for fossils. I have never found so many quality specimens in so short a time. The trilobites are plentiful, especially if you have a hammer and can split the layers of rock.

Nice paths easy to navigate,STAFF IS RATED 10 OUT OF 5 STARS!!!! It takes some effort to find fossils.I just got a family yr pass, because look forward to coming as much as possible
